This hotel has been around for a long time and it is not "The Hyatt". Our room had been recently remodeled and was in very good shape. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The view from our room was great (Trackside and Mountains). The price was excellent for a family of 5, getting the teenagers a room of their...

My wife and I spent a weekend here with our dog (pet friendly) during ski season. She wanted to rest and I wanted to ski. The place is perfect for both. The rooms are nice and clean. All feature a fireplace, which my wife enjoyed, and a second floor. The small fridge and microwave made it easy to eat and...

We enjoyed our stay at the Iron Horse Inn. The layout of the suite with full kitchen was perfect for us. We had plenty of space for our things, and room for the kids to play. The outdoor playground was a huge plus as well. The basic kitchen allows you to make a simple meal and save money during your...

The Iron Horse is a classic motel with some twists. The rooms are two-level, with a queen bed on the entry level and a second queen bed in a loft. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave or coffee maker. There is a wood-burning fireplace, but given the state of the carpet I don't think I'd look at this...

We have stayed here a few times to visit our daughter that goes to Fort Lewis. Its a little run down but you can't beat the price! It is clean. It's very dog friendly! There is a lot of room in the unit with a loft bedroom in addition to the main floor bed. Friendly staff -- Anna is awesome!

The people working there were professional and very friendly. The rooms are large and have very nice views. If you are going snowboarding this is a good place to stay. It is outside of town closer to the mountains, so you can avoid the city in the am. Also you have all the the space in the world for your...

We upgraded to track side and the view was really nice. There are two rooms, but no real privacy as the upstairs is more of a loft. This is not a fancy hotel, you will have to bring your own blow dryer and coffee maker. Also, there is no sofa, just a small table and chairs. The first room we...

My family recently stayed for one night (New Years Eve). It was a last minute trip and we was excited to find a great rate at a property so close to Pergatory that had spacious rooms and a wood burning fireplace. I was extremely disappointed with our selection... Very run down, carpet was dirty, and the smell of smoke was...

“If you are planning to use the kitchen to cook meals, they provide very basic supplies. A few pots, pans, cooking utensils and plates, bowls, mugs and utensils. No knives, mixers, can openers or other gadgets. Just FYI!”

“We reserved a room facing the railroad and a gorgeous valley view. This is something we enjoyed, but you must be advised that the train is fairly close to the room, and it sounds its horn as it chugs past the hotel at night. The website description is forthcoming about this information, but I just wanted to mention it again. ”
