Wow what an amazing experience. Gary checked us in and was so nice . Ryan was our guide - what a great guy and guide!!! The horses were wonderfully trained and easy to ride - you could tell they really care about them, which meant a lot to me. Riding on this ranch is fantastic- it's rolling hills and mostly...

My husband and I were staying in Breckenridge for our honeymoon. This excursion was a short drive (40 mins) away. The couple running the ranch were great and have ran it for over 30 years. They were great to learn from. The people there were all so friendly and helpful. We have very little horseback experience, but they really helped...

I spent the summer in Breckenridge, and after a few weeks decided that I wanted to take my 8 yo daughter to ride horses. After I called informed that they allow children over the age of six to ride I booked for me and my daughter. An hour before our ride, my eight year old daughter begin vomiting, so my...

It was so much fun to be able ride side by side and go in the direction I wanted instead of a nose-to-tail line like all other trail rides I've been on. The beauty of the open range made me feel like I was a real cowgirl on a western ranch. the cook-out bbq lunch was also a real treat....

This is the second year (2016) a group of three of us came to ASR primarily for horseback riding. In all the years we have been riding ASR offers the best experience of anyplace we've been. The prices are reasonable, the wranglers knowledgeable and the riding is fantastic. It's none of this nose to tail nag trails but a great...

From the horses, owners and wrangler this is the place to go. Most horseback experiences I have done are that you are all bunched up in single file and unable to hear the guide ahead of you. Not here you can ride side by side or mostly all alone in a large open meadow. This ranch with its owners and...

We rode horses for 2 hours through the mountain. It was awesome and a cool experience. I don't know what these other reviews are talking about when they say they had a bad time?! The people there were extremely nice and it was organized. It is also authentic cowboy so if your scared to "chip a nail" then go back...

Wow! Not sure where to begin. This is the way horseback riding should always be. No long lines, no processing licenses, no nose-to-tail walking at all!! I've been riding for decades (with little skill mind you); and, my friend had never been on a horse. Kevin picked out the sweetest horses in the barn for us (he picked out two...

We came with a group of 8 and did the two hour ride. We had Kevin as our wrangler/tour guide. He was awesome. So kind, funny and knew his stuff. We liked that this place is more of a free ride style opposed to just riding in a line back to back. We went at 10 am and that was...
