The owner is completely unreasonable. We had to cancel the event due to COVID-19 regulations and we informed her a week before as well. However, she was unwilling to refund the money. Even reputable hotels refund money if they’re informed with a considerable time span. Even as we asked her if she would take the responsibility as a host if someone tests positive and she replied saying she would not. Very unprofessional and arrogant I would not recommend this place to anyone if the staff is like this.

This place is amazing worthy of your money! The place has 04 rooms (if I’m not mistaken) and 12 people (or maybe a little more) can comfortably stay. The place is beautifully done with antiques and trees. And they have a nice pool also. We had a small bachelorette party there. All the pictures look super good! The property owner lady is a sweetheart. She came all the way just to check whether everything is alright for our function. Since it was just five of us staying over, we had to think about the security as well (cause there’s this old man as the caretaker) and she has asked another lady to come just to make us feel safer. The caretaker and his wife (the lady who cake in) was really good and helpful. They looked us after like their own kids. The only drawback I would say is the washrooms. The washrooms of the place could’ve been a little more cleaner and functioning. But the rest of the rooms and the place were clean and cozy. Will definitely come again!

The lady who answer the phone asked not to come when I queried about the reviews. She said they have enough guests and she was not happy cos I asked questions about the quality of mattresses. She was unhappy cos I made a query to stay only a day. She told it to me directly.

Booked this place after photos n reviews that we had seen - and my God what a huge mistake. Don’t be fooled by the old photos that are still advertising this property, this is the real Fern Cove Villa, we had booked it for two weeks, stayed for one night, slept on top of the bed as the place was so filthy, spoke to the owners mother n showed her the room, n left at 8am - n this was supposed to be a trip of a lifetime- it certainly was !!!!

We visited SL this month and Fern clove was our last stop . Being an outdoor and flora enthusiast I found this villa my ultimate and obvious choice , due respect to owners who are extremely gentle and sweet but their 16 yrs old home which has turned into a resort certainly needs revamping and restoration and better up keep . Broken down latches , doors and non functioning ac’s Can not be sold as Bawa’s concept . Concept must evolve with changing times and requirements of the visitors they are hosting . Faded and torn upholstery, rusted locks and bathroom fittings , unkept and dusty drawers , dirty worn out bathroom can not be the concept of the esteem architect Bawa , who I have admired fr the raw ,untouched natural surrounding feel but this was an extreme where the couple is actually encasing without spending on renovations. it’s a beautiful property but needs renovation keeping the basics intact but complete overhaul is required . Keep yr belongings under watch as our phone went missing and later found in the out house with one of the helps .
