Georgetown Mt Inn will take you back to the 60's, by way of charming architecture and because not a whole lot appears to have changed since then. It's a solidly OK place to stay, with plenty of hot water for showers, decent beds and a continental breakfast bar squeezed into a wee tiny nook where it's possible for two people to load their plates if they cooperate (patience is the road to wisdom and also to breakfast). Bottom line, I wouldn't hesitate to book a room here if I needed a place to stay.
This is my fifth year to stay here. They are really upping their game with breakfast (continental) - so much to choose from! The staff is really friendly and they definitely go out of their way to accommodate you. The hot tub is a bonus after skiing and there are some good dining options nearby. The inn is older and we always seem to have a small issue, but its clean, convenient, and you can't beat the price. We highly recommend Georgetown Inn!
The little things really made this place stand out, like the super cozy common room, the warm welcome and the friendly staff. When they say they make great coffee they mean it! And the complimentary breakfast was so much better than it had any right to be. The room was clean the bed was comfy and the hot tub was hot. I would stay here again.
Will definitely stay again- perfect place to stay on the way to skiing to break up the drive from Denver. The staff are incredibly helpful and the hotel is clean, safe, and easily accessible from the freeway.
This place was very warm and cozy. We stayed in the family suite and it was very spacious. The people work here are genuinely kind and helpful. Jessica, thank you for mailing our lost and found! Pete, it was always peasant to chat and share your local knowledge. The breakfast was great as well. The lodge located between Pho Bay and Alpine Pizza restaurants which we walked to and enjoyed very much. We hope to say again for future visits. Thanks!
Inn staff was most welcoming, helpful and thoughtful! Inn was centrally located a block or so away from the historic village of Georgetown and right next to a few small parks, stores and restaurants, so it was very convenient. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Each room had microwave and fridge so you could do your own meals,
A really fun small coffee shop and restaurant. Only holds 10 so close quarters. Food was good. Server was fun. Service good too. Gluten free options. Quaint gift shop too. Dessert was bakery items. Try it.
Locally owned and operated, this quaint hotel offers great hospitality, and a wonderful location. We brought our service dog, and small old dog. We liked the Alpine restaurant next door, and the close proximity to Georgetown lake, and downtown Georgetown. Free coffee fruit and muffins for breakfast.
We stayed here for one night as part of a long road trip from Chicago round Colorado and back again. Georgetown is a lovley little town so it makes perfect sense to overnight here. To cut a long story short we woke up and couldn't find our car keys. Looked everywhere - walked the route we walked the night before - nothing. There was avery good chance we dropped them in the adjacent restauraunt the night before. They were closed all day Tuesday (and youre reading ahead already....) it was Tuesday. The hotel staff were absolute lifesavers. They tracked down the restauraunt owners and made arrangements for them to come into the restauraunt to see if the keys were there, but they couldnt make it till 3.30 pm. As it was far from certain that the keys were in there the hotel really went above and beyond - let us have a room to wait in.... if the keys were not found we could book the room for the night and sort the car the next day - if they were in the restauraunt then no problems, just hand the keys to the room in and go - no charge for the afternoon. I cannot overstate how much of a lifesaver this was... went well beyond just being a hotel, these folks couldnt have been more supportive at a difficult time (particularly Jessica who was brilliant). Come 3.30 the restauraunt owner arrived - keys were there and we were on our way. The hotel is great - rooms great etc etc We travel a lot, an awfull lt, and we will always owe this hotel a huge debt of thanks.... they couldn't do enough for us at a difficult time and showed that this is more than simply somewhere great to sleep for the night - its all that but staffed by absolute heroes.... Thankyou !…
I had car trouble the day of my stay here, my friend and I were meeting in Georgetown to hike Grays and Torreys the next day. I called the desk to ask them to add my friend to the reservation so she could check in without me, and the staff was very accommodating. They even called me before 10pm to see if I was going to make it before they closed the front office, left a key for me under the mat, and wished us well on our hike. Very kind and helpful people, cozy room, will absolutely visit again!!!
