This is a very nice hotel in the middle of the city which is small but has a lot of things going on. The hotel is in walking distance of the Yampa spa and hot springs, local bar and shopping. This is an upscale hotel with a very pretty ambiance and upper class dinning but not over priced. We received...

I was here with my church for our annual Women's Retreat, and I was immediately taken back in time when I walked thru the doors! It looks like it's right out of the pages of a magazine, or newspaper from the past! I could not stop looking around, and reading all the interesting pictures and admiring the amazing classical decor!...

I loved the historic charm of this hotel making one feel like you stepped back in time. Our room on the third floor was huge, a living room, bedroom, large bath with walk in closet. Furnishings were tired but room was clean. Period photos decorated the walls. The staff we encountered were friendly and worked hard to please. The food...

I loved the Hotel Colorado!! Staff was amazing, decor is so enchanting and welcoming! Hot Springs are right across the street, making it convenient to bask in the hot thermal waters! I highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here in December of 2016 for our wedding anniversary. We arrived by train and were picked up by the hotel shuttle, even though it is a very short walk across the bridge to the hotel. We stayed two nights (Thur / Fri) and had a wonderful time. The hotel is old but very comfortable. Upon...

Step back in time and be close to the hot springs and vapor caves. Best location. Keep in mind OLD world charm but really fun. The rooms and bathrooms are really old. If you're looking for modern , stay elsewhere. Loved the fire pit and garden for evening cocktails.

We tried to keep our expectations low because the room rate was so low and the hotel was closing for a major renovation in a week or so. But we kept being pleasantly surprised by the good service and friendly staff. The historic hotel is a gem.

During a recent visit to Glenwood Springs, we stopped in at the Hotel Colorado to check it out. The outside Christmas decorations were spectacular, and the inside equally awesome. The lounge looked the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing cocktail. The only problem was it was not open. Paul Vallejos, the food and beverage manager, volunteered to open it and serve...

Was set up in a Jacuzzi room on the 4th floor. Had a veiw of the courtyard with all the beautiful Christmas lights! The room was amazing, the staff was beyond helpful. Exploring the beautiful architecture and history of this hotel was just the icing on the cake. Restaurant is a little pricy. Guest should get a discount at least...
