The park itself is attractive with good restrooms and a nice camp store, and seems a nice place to stay, though we weren't there long. It was nearly full when we arrived early on a Saturday afternoon in mid-April. Quiet at night once traffic died down on the road past it. The staff was pleasant, and the only negative thing...

Very Nice accommodations and close to town. Pet Friendly and the staff were great and informative. Love being able to set outside and enjoy the patio. This was our first stay at a KOA and we loved visiting here.

In our travels, we've stayed at a lot of KOAs. This is one of the best for the money. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, wide level sites. Super clean bathrooms with generous shower spaces. It's close to a major supermarket. While not close to I-70, it is easy to get to. Really recommend staying here.

We showed up without a reservation, a nice gentlemen met me before I could get out of the truck and said we could get a site. A very nice lady took us right to our site and they was even going to register us at the site but we had to get somewhere so we meet them in the office....

We spent the night after a huge day exploring monument valley and arches national park. Arrived quiet late so didn't really get an opportunity to chat but check in was easy and staff helpful. In the morning the kids enjoyed some mini golf while us parents did the boring stuff.... We headed off mid morning and found this park and...

We have stayed at this KOA on our way to Denver. The staff is great, sites are level and great for big rigs. This park is on our list as a must when passing through the area. Great restaurants are nearby and a State Park that is a beautiful drive. Great visit for us

We stayed one night after a kid's soccer game to avoid a long drive back to Denver. We picked KIOA because most KOA's are the same so we knew what to expect. Check in was easy and the person helping us friendly. We had a cabin that slept 4 - two adults and two teens, and first impressions were good....

The most quiet campground I've ever been in! I'm not a group KOA kind of camper, but I was with friends who need a full hook up. This campground was full to capacity and I never heard a peep out of any person or dog. The office staff was helpful and kind. The bathroom was clean with plenty of light...

We appreciated the pull through but expected large shady space like shown in the website. Instead we had tiny space, a patch of grass, no shade, no sewer, and were extremely close to neighboring RVs. We didn't use facilities but expect they were clean like most KOAs. Did like the dog run.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for our family of 4. We actually over packed as they had everything we needed right at our fingertips. Loved the pool, miniature golf, and outdoor movies. Plus for $4 you can rent peddle bikes similar to go carts and cruise around the campground. The staff here went above...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Western Colorado KOA campground is centrally located between the high desert and hiking trails of the Colorado National Monument and the tree-shaded lakes of the Grand Mesa, featuring fishing, ATV and hiking trails, and moose, elk and deer hunting. Nearby, mountain bike trails in all directions offer terrain very similar to Moab without the crowds. The Colorado River offers rafting from "mild", 2-hour trips to "WILD" full-day trips; you can even catch a horseback ride! Bring your rod and reel, because great trout fishing is just a short drive away from the campground. ... more   less
