An older hotel that shows some signs of wear but priced accordingly. Room was clean and everything worked. I slept well and that's what counts most. There seemed to be some updating going on while we were there. Stayed 2 night and would consider staying there again. Little more hike to the shopping/eating places in town. Downtown is still in...

Here’s the good and the Bad. The good, it was fairly clean and is close to the town and RMNP. The bad, the bed was rock hard, very cheap junky furniture, the light for the room was a two tube 4 foot florescent light, towels were like sandpaper, limited electrical outlets, very poor view from any window, no elevator just...

The room was clean, the location good and pricing was okay. There were a group of construction workers staying there and were concerned it might be a little loud; however, it was very quiet. Short walk to town. No breakfast and the soda machine was out of order. We were on the first floor and all the rooms opened out...

I found this place a little expensive. No breakfast. It is however a short walk from town. It was clean. Room was quiet. Wifi was OK. I would probably look for somewhere else to stay if I stayed again.

This was a nice place to stay away from the crowds in Estes park. The room was clean and quiet . The management was friendly and helpful. There is Not a continental breakfast as mentioned in some references. Bring your healthy snacks . A nice walk down town is just a few steps away. You will find some shops for...

Anyone looking for lodging around Grand Lake or RMNP will see that it's very pricey. This motel offered a great rate, relatively-speaking. It was very clean and quiet, and the woman at the desk was pleasant and accommodating. The motel is located on the main street--accessible to everything in just a couple moments' walk--but it's a few blocks down from...

We stay two nights at big horn and we found it too basic for the price we paid (ca180$). In our room we had only one single queen bed and for two is really not enough. In general the furniture are cheap. There is no breakfast (our travel agency said that there is continental breakfast). The WiFi network is accessible...

We came up to Grand Lake for a quick weekend trip and grabbed this hotel from a groupon. The price was great, especially for a resort town (even in the winter the prices are high here) and it did the job. We spent a lot of our town out of the room, eating and walking around town and snowshoeing in...

I don't normally write reviews but I had to share my recent experience this New Years staying at the Bighorn Lodge in Grand Lake. My husband & I stayed there during the holidays. The location was ideal, centrally placed within walking distance of everything. The hot tub was beautiful and private and the experience was all the more beautiful as...

On vacation from the UK. If you are heading for the Rocky Mountain National Park, stay in beautiful Grand Lake rather than Estes Park. Delightful main street set by Grand Lake and the Rockies as a backdrop. If you take my advice, stay at the Bighorn Lodge. Small but beautifully formed. Very welcoming, nice room and a very good price....
