This was our first time visiting your wonderful state. Beautiful! We had a tent site. It was placed in the best spot . I can't say enough good things about Elk Creek Campground. The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest. Didn't see any spiders. The laundry room was a godsend after camping nearly a week. Several washers and dryers. And... More

We showed up at Elk Creek without reservations but the staff was very, very accomodating in finding us a place to camp for 3 nights. We had to move after the first night and stayed in the Overflow area, which was reasonably priced and offered access to all amenities at the campground. It's a nice place to stay but the... More

Stayed for 9 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Feels more like camping than an average rv park. Most sites are quite private. The full hookup sites are smaller than the ones further away. The owners are very nice and helpful and the little store has more than you might expect. The bathrooms are spotless with nice showers. The town... More

What a nice place! Lots of the campsites are pretty private, divided by a tree or bush, the bathrooms are very clean and modern, the showers are free, and the hosts are terrific. They made some really good suggestions of things to do. Located between a really nice town (Grand Lake), beautiful lakes, and the National Park entrance, we definitely... More

This campground is family run and excellent value. They made our stay a treasured memory with there well kept campground and advice on the local area. They also have a very well stocked campground store....thank goodness as someone had relieved me of my 39 amp adapter needed to plug my camper in for electrical. The campground has clean bathrooms with... More

Well organized, well managed property. This morning we heard sounds outside...strange sounds...the snorting kind. After investigation (simply opening the door) we found a mother moose with a young one munching away at the grass and willows. Great facilities, showers were clean and the water was hot. The owners go out of their way to ensure this RV park remains on... More

We had a great trip this past holiday weekend with family and friends. Close to the national park, downtown for restaurants and secluded enough to relax! We will be back for sure next season. Next time I'm bringing my clubs so I can golf next door.

We stayed 3 nights at Elk Creek in our trailer and had a wonderful time. The RV sites have foliage (trees, bushes) and some separation so there isn't the parking lot feel of many RV parks. The facilities are clean and well kept, and the owners are friendly and very helpful. The park is less than a 5 minute drive... More

Stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. Cabin is spacious, has a table and outside furniture, place is very clean and owners are friendly. At night you can see starry sky and it has a creek. The reason I'm not rating it 5 is the showers: water is warm but not hot, which you really wait for after an exhausting... More

This is our families 2nd time at the camp ground and this time we joined a couple families. This is a tradition for our family. Cleanest bathrooms, great activities for children and the nicest people. Thanks for another enjoyable trip. See you next year.
