I loved the woodwork of the hotel and in the rooms. We had a suite with a bedroom separated from the living room. The bedroom was a little tight for maneuvering however the bed was comfortable. The living room had a sofa and a few chairs - and out on the balcony were benches to sit on and watch the...

We were camping near Grand Lake and encountered more rain than originally anticipated and figured we'd see if any of the hotels had vacancy (we're expecting it being Labor Day weekend). We happened to walk by this one, saw a vacancy sign and went in. The gal at the front desk was really nice, helpful, and efficient. She found that...

We stayed here for one night. Got the suite with a fireplace and a couch inside. Absolutely wonderful. Very short walk to town with great places to eat. Overall a great stay, and the office has fresh coffee brewed every morning for all guests.

Grand Lake is an old fashioned lake town, reminiscent of the lake lodges and towns in the Adirondacks. It is not fancy at all. This motel is actually one of the nicer looking ones. The room was fine although it took quite a while for the heater to warm up the room. The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom...

We came to Grand Lake for a wedding and took a room here. The wedding guests were spread throughout the area and from what I heard from the others, this place is very good by comparison. Rate was reasonable, staff friendly, room clean and spacious (upstairs King). It's a motel by any standards but a good one.

Really 31/2 stars would be the rating for this hotel. Stopped here after a two hour drive. Town was busy and my wife and I took a chance on finding a room for the night. Saw the vacancy signed and enter the office. Said they had just had two cancellations. Took a upper floor room in the lodge. $160.00 a...

This is a motel type lodging on the main road through town. Rustic, log cabin look. Room was very clean, but on the small side. We had a room with a very small bedroom big enough for a queen bed and another sitting room with tv, desk, couch and chair. There is a communal hot tub which we didn't try. People...

Stayed there for one night. They allow dogs. Great location, in the middle of town, we walked everywhere. Very clean. Western look.. We got a suite, living room with a bedroom. Two tv's. My only complaint is that the living room had a fan, but the bedroom had a little window and no fan. So the room was very warm....

We enjoyed staying here in a comfortable room with a view down the hill overlooking the enterence driveway. Comfortable bed, good choice. No included breakfast and the onsite restaurant was too busy with a just-arrived tour bus group so we didn't eat there. The ladies at the desk were pleasant and helpful. Had to smile at their obvious usual routine...

Located in very nice town just outside RMNP entrance. Within walking distance to downtown & lake. Rooms clean, but on smaller side. Bathroom very small. Shower head mounted too low. Lake has a LOT of amenities available such as sailboats, kayaks, poontoon boat rentals and was very busy.
