The room was rustic and clean. Good price for the location. Beautiful town that is so close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Great restaurants within walking distance. The lake is a must see. A nice place to walk to after a delicious dinner. Hotel manager was very friendly.

This place's exterior is charming, but it was very uncomfortable. For the price, I don't think I'll be back. The reception is not open early, so forget coffee before an early morning departure to your adventures. And for the price, the lobby coffee is awful. They provide no option to make your own, no coffee machines in room to at...

The rooms look dated or give it a more cabin like feel depending on your preference. The double queen room had a nice layout with a separate room for the other bed unlike most side by side configurations. No breakfast offered. A reasonable stay if you can get a low price, however not somewhere to base yourself for an extended...

Clean, comfortable, extremely friendly owner, and in the most beautiful place you can imagine! The snowmobile rental was convenient and the ride of a lifetime! You definitely get comfort and quality here! I would highly recommend!

The prices are high for what you actually get. The rooms are basic and clean for the most part. There was an unpleasant smell to the room that I thought may have been a chemical, but the rest of my family thought it was the bathroom. The heater took a very long time to warm the room (more than an...

This was a very bad experience for me. The rooms are nice but way to small, Internet is horrible and so are the prices. The customer service was not great either. The futon broke but was never completely fixed. Told the lady we had 3 people, yet she gave us a small room with a small refrigerator. For the price...

A quaint little motel with personal service. Clean spacious rooms, however very little water pressure or hot water. The mattress was hard as a brick and the ceiling fan did not work. No laundry facilities at the "lodge" or in town even, however the hostess was nice enough to wash my laundry after I asked and after she had sent...

The location is perfect for a weekend trip. It's walking distance to just about everything there is to do in town. The "cabins" are comfortable and adequate in size for two adults. However if you are seeking inn keeper hospitality, a warm reception, or friendly customer service, this isn't the spot. We found the woman at the front desk to...

This is my 3rd year in a row to stay here. Snowmobile trip is awesome!!! I'll be coming back next year as well!! The owner treats our group well. They cleaned the rooms every day, Snowmobiles worked great, if you like winter adventure this is a cool place to be.

We stayed at Spirit Lake Lodge for three nights during the holiday season (Dec. 26-28). During this time both the lodge and the town of Grand Lake was bustling with lots of people and snowmobiles. I stayed with my family; wife, daughter and son. We were pleased to have a room with two twin size beds, so the young ones...
