Ok the food is delicious, the accommodation tasteful, the views stunning but the service provided by happy, thoughtful staff is the standout feature that makes this dinner bed and breakfast inn a cut above the rest.

Three recent visits for dinner with friends at our instigation in the last three months. We always received a warm welcome. The menu was varied and the food beautifully presented and served by friendly, competent staff. The fact we have been three times speaks for itself. We shall be returning!

Decided to have a leisurely Friday lunch, just the two of us. We had been before, but some time ago and it was very good. This time it was just as good, excellent in fact. Place was full when we arrived 1.30pm, but we had a cosy corner table. The food and service were excellent, and all very relaxed and...

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Timble. We have always enjoyed our stay. This was a post Christmas break for two nights including breakfast and dinner. The remote location is fantastic as you walk through the door and you are welcomed by a log burner and a cold beer. The staff are so friendly and helpful....
