Lets be honest, I'm a history geek and the fact that this hotel has been around since the 1880's appeals to me! For a place of that era, the rooms are quite spacious and have a large closet and decent bathroom. Rooms have been renovated...More
We stayed in the historic inn while we visited family and had a great experience!! We spent time exploring the quaint little town during an annual craft fair and drove around looking at the beautiful fall color in the mountains! The room was very nice...More
While I like to support out of the way non-chain lodging, this one was very disappointing. Perhaps it was because of being the end of the season, but I appeared to be the only one staying there. Workers were cleaning and the strong chemical smell...More
Great visit-- the owners couldn't have been nicer everything we asked for we got, ie clean towels, juice at breakfast, and directions. Its a little off the usual path, but well worth your time. Its quaintness was very refreshing. Lots to do in the area.
this is a remodeled building in the heart of town. Good comfortable rooms, all slightly different. Clean--prices are moderate, a continental breakfast is included. Not too many rooms, so check it out early if you are looking in the area.

Thank you for your interest in the La Veta Inn. As a little background, Ali and I bought the Inn right at a year ago and have been working hard to bring her back to life after being shut down for two years. We have been doing extensive updates since purchasing and continue to do so.
But to answer your questions: All of our rooms have new 40" TV's with around 100 channels from DIRECTV. Our Courtyard Suites all have a refrigerator and microwave, and all but one of them have a dining area as well.
Feel free to give us a call if you have any other questions, or need help booking. Best, Ryan
