David and Rosie run a great establishment! The Inn at the Lake is a non-profit Christian owned and run bed and breakfast. The Inn has been renovated and it is a great retreat along the banks of Lake San Cristobal - a short walk away. Hand carved railings, wooden outdoor furniture and log benches, a fire pit for an evening...

Very limited cell signal on property. Breakfasts are wonderful, devotionals are God honoring, the hiking is excellent! Short drive to Uncompahgre, if you are wanting to knock out a 14er. David knows all the hiking in the area and when free to go with you; he is a delightful tour guide!

I came to the Inn at the Lake last year. I found it on the internet. It was such an awesome visit we came back this year. The breakfast served here differs everyday and it second to none. The devotional is during breakfast and just starts your day off right. The owners David and Rosie are constantly mingling with the...

My wife and I took my parents here for a Father's Day gift. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the Whitelocks will treat you like family. There are tons of things to do around the Inn. If you truly want to get away from it all, and be treated like gold stay here.

We were happy to have you for Father's Day and so glad to get to know you. Come back and see us in September when the Aspen will be in all their glory. Hoping to see you again very soon.

The epic views, limitless outdoor adventures, and rustic solitude were only exceeded by the local hospitality and fellowship. The inn sits right on San Cristobal lake at 9000' and offers both secluded retreat and outdoor adventure in every direction. I spent weeks planning a family camping trip and was fortunate to find the Inn as an option that allowed us...

I was on a guy trip with my son and grandsons. The setting by the lake was breathtaking. The room was facing the lake (all rooms face the lake) and beautiful mountains. Many outdoor activities including fishing and hiking. The staff were gracious and accommodating. Breakfast every morning was excellent and complimentary. This will be the road trip that all...

We spent 9 days in the state of Colorado on vacation. Our stay at the Inn at the Lake was the highlight of our entire trip. We spent 3 nights and days at the Inn at the Lake, and wish we had spent more time there. Aside from the beautiful surrounding scenery, hosts David and Rosie are outstanding, and now...

My husband and I took a motorcycle trip through the southeast portion of Colorado stopping at a town each night. The Inn at the Lake was our first stop. We booked this place over The Matterhorn Motel, which looked inviting as well, but we opted for The Inn. We've been in the area before but usually kept on driving through...

My husband and I have stayed in several Bed and Breakfasts. This one was by far the best I have ever stayed in. If you enjoy getting to know th others staying there, this is the place to be. Not only do you meet them at breakfast but everyone there interacts though the day and evening. It is a Christian...

Not only will you feel right at home, but they'll fill your tummy with a homemade breakfast while you gave out at the beauty of Lake San Cristobal! The volunteers, David, and Rosie...
