The motel is clean, the rooms are well kept, the staff is very friendly and there are several places to eat within walking distance. Better rates than the chain places. It is a bit close to the highway, so ask for a room toward the back of the motel for a bit more peace and quiet. I would definitely stay...

The Holiday Motel is a budget motel, but one cannot complain about the facility considering the very reasonable price to stay here. Our room was quiet and very clean. A great place to stay when passing through town.

Mike is the most professional owner manager you will find. He works 7 days a week to provide the best lodging in Lamar. Unique rooms, large bathrooms, fridge, extra rags for cleaning. The location is the best in town, very central. Whether you are looking for a suite or budget room, he'll make you happy and welcome. I've stayed with...

Found this room using Yelp, phoned to see if a room was available and the gentleman took our name and said he would hold a room for us. As we drove into town, we stopped at another place but proceeded to the middle of town and this gem of a motel. The owner was courteous, friendly and offered an amazing...

This motel is owned and run by a retired therapist. He keeps this older motel in good condition. It is not luxurious but comfortable, clean and adequate for an overnight stay while traveling through Colorado. We had our little dog with us and he charged us $10 pet fee which is standard for what we pay. No grass around for...

NO bed bugs here! We stay here whenever we pass thru Lamar. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Nice size bathroom with a tub if you need to soak. The owner takes special measures to insure there are no bug problems. Frig/micro in the room. Large vehicle parking. Great value.

We're on our way to Florida for a few weeks, and intended to spend the night in Wichita, KS, a leisurely 8 hr drive from home in south central Colorado. But along came a blizzard and completely upended our plans. Fortunately, after the shock of "Road Closed" on Hwy 50 had worn off, we thought of checking into a hotel....

We stayed here on the way to a resort for one night, so we just needed a place to sleep. The room was extremely cramped. It had 2 full size beds, one night stand, a small dresser, a mini-fridge and a microwave. We barely had room to walk around once our suitcases were brought in. There was no closet at...

The price was excellent for our 1st floor king room. While the furniture was from the 70s the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had been completely updated. This little motel's parking lot will accommodate big rigs and big RVs. Room also has nice small refrigerator and microwave but no coffee maker.

I like staying in local mompop hotels over national names if just staying a night. This one was good and reasonably priced.. Huge clean and updated bathroom. Room had dated furniture but bed was new comfy and it was clean. It has a fridge and microwave. No coffee maker but loaf and jug has coffee and is only a block...
