Overall the quality of this stay was poor. Cleanliness was an issue and the fact that I could hardly exit an elevator without being sniffed by some damn dog was a problem. I always pick La Quinta first when traveling with a pet. This used to be very clean & kept up but in the past year maintenance has slipped & it is showing signs of wear & tear. We have stayed here many times and it's not as nice as in previous years. Pillows were terrible this past time.

Good place, generally. Room renovation is needed and it it now occurring. There was seemingly drilling noise which interfered with our afternoon nap. Tho we managed to get some rest anyway. The size and basic amenities of the room were good. I appreciated the light switch by the bed that controlled the room lamps and overhead light by the door. Hotel location is excellent right off Hwy 36 and close to numerous restaurants and shopping. Site has great walking path for pets right behind the hotel. Had a great experience staying at the La Quinta in Louisville in November 2016. We had a pet so a place that allowed animals was mandatory. The room was large and comfortable. We gave up on Hampton Inn's and crossed our fingers and gave the ole La Quinta a shot. To our surprise, it was an excellent experience!! I guess like so many other hotels, you just have to hope they have been remodeled recently and this one looks like it has. Room was great and mattress was excellent. Service was great...

The hotel Is under renovation, no management, all areas were dirty. Unfortunately there is no place to post the photos. AC did not work, not enough bathroom supplies. Had to go into dirty stock room to take towels and shampoo.

This is an average hotel. there is a good breakfast in the morning. The room was clean but you could tell it needs a bit of updating and work. the paint was peeling on the bathroom door and on the mini fridge.
