I stayed at Black Mountain from 4 - 11 September in Castle Peak Suite. Black Mountain is everything I thought it would be and more. Fantastic food, staff, horses and views. This was by far the best week of my life and I look forward to coming back next year.

Our group of horsey 7 friends have talked about doing a guest ranch experience for a couple of years. We chose this ranch because of the (all inclusive) unique activities they offered.. plus the adults only week and the fact that max guests were 40 people. We were pampered by the excellent staff, owners and wranglers, fed gourmet meals till we... More

Beautiful, comfortable cabin (Spruce #11) ...1st floor bedroom with king size bed; sitting room; fireplace & bathroom ... 2nd floor bedroom with 2 twin beds & bathroom ... Daily house keeping service. Small refrigerator & freezer was very convenient. The ranch owners & staff were ultra accommodating - Best horses & wranglers ever; delicious meals; fun times at the saloon;... More

The Black Mountain Ranch provided us with an outstanding, completely satisfying family vacation. There’s a reason why all the TripAdvisor reviews are five stars, and I'm so very happy to add yet another. The website is very well done, providing useful information, including the outline of the week's activities, the promotional video (and outtake video!), and the blog, which reports... More

Being a horse farm owner, trainer and riding instructor, I am more than thrilled to say Black Mountain Ranch was more than we expected. Family owned and operated with staff and wranglers that go above and beyond to meet your expectations. It was very clear that we had chose the right ranch on the first day. After meeting the other... Rather than repeating all the wonderful things people have already said about Black Mountain Ranch, I will just say it's all true! I researched dude ranches in several states, but kept going back to BMR. I have no doubt I chose the best! There is nothing BMR hasn't thought of to make your adventure perfect! I've been home a week... More

Most amazing trip of my life! BMR is the real deal, family run by true professionals. My sister and I stayed in Rock Creek, (you can't go wrong with any of the cabins) first week of August this year. Got a nice work out walking up the hill from meals everyday. Right next to spotlessly clean hot tub! Food -... More

This is one holiday we will never forget. The ranch is stunning with spectacular views. Our accommodation, Rock Creek cabin was spacious and spotless. The horses chosen for us were perfect. The wranglers were exceptional, thanks Landon and Mark for taking care of us, also to Amy, Brandon, Matt, Vic and Emily, to name but a few. The rides were... More

We first visited Black Mountain Ranch in 2003 and have just completed our ninth vacation with them. When first selecting a "Dude Ranch" the attraction of BMR was it's smaller size, the range of activities offered (in addition to horse riding) and the fact it had a licensed saloon. These aspects have remained consistent throughout the 13 years we have... More
