The owners could not have beed nicer and are there to help you in every way. Our room was clean, charming and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail is amazing, right down to the luxurious linens on the bed to the continental breakfast. The location is right in the middle of Main street and close to restaurants, bars, gift stores,...

After a long day of riding through the mountains, my husband and I were ready to relax. It was our first time in Ouray and we just happened to pull over to find this little hotel. I was greeted by a very friendly face who showed me around and let me choose which room I'd like. The 1893 restored building...

The town of Ouray was immediately captivating, but once we stepped into the Hotel Ouray, I knew our stay was going to be worth it. We arrived over three hours before check-in time and were immediately greeted by the incredibly kind and informative owner, Patty. Not only did she check us in early, but she also provided a short yet...

I always check the reviews on Trip Advisor (this is not an advertisement .... just a fact!) before my husband and I take a trip and especially to parts unknown to us, or untraveled. When returning home from AZ this winter we decided to vary our route so we drove through Shiprock, Silverton, Gunnison and spent the night in Ouray....

Classic old hotel right in the center of town. Great hospitality by the owners and very friendly. You can tell they love this hotel and have done some great remodeling and more coming. Ouray is a walking town and this central location and advice from the manager helped make our short stay wonderful. We will be back...

Dear Rich, thank you for your kind review of Hotel Ouray. We love what we do and the most difficult part for us is when we we can't please everyone. Yes, we look forward to continuing with our upgrades. Transom windows are next with a light covering to diffuse any hall nightlights that may bother guests. Always looking to improve......

Our first time in Ouray even thought it's only 3 hours from where we live in Pagosa springs. I brought my daughter and her friend for a little birthday getaway - not the best place for 16 year olds as there is not much to do, however I enjoyed our stay. The Hotel has been nicely remodeled and I believe...

Thank you, Sariah, for your review of Hotel Ouray. Ouray is a spectacular place to visit if you want to enjoy hiking / Hot Springs / great food and some boutique shopping but it may not be ideal for teenagers that may be looking for something a bit more exciting. Actually, we did have additional guests the night you were...

This hotel is over 100 years old and in the process of remodeling and the rooms were nice with private baths. They advertise air conditioning but they do not turn it on until May and the windows were painted shut so no air was flowing in the room and my allergies were activated by the molds. The breakfast room had...

Dear Jean, It was a very heavy heart that I read your review.
