There was lots that i liked about Main Street Inn. Its positioned within walking distance of all restaurants and breweries and Ouray is lovely. It is very quaint and the room was very clean with a lot of amenities. Unfortunately we stayed in the Cottonwood Room which was dark, ri

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and could not have been happier. It is brilliant value, huge room (we were in Palamino) very comfortable bed, just a block from the restaurants and shops.

The town is lovely, amazing views and all local businesses not chain stores.

Like a bed and breakfast, without the breakfast...but with a lovely loaf of freshly baked pumpkin bread. Nice warm room on a cold night, with fluffy soft towels for the shower. The only thing I recommend for the Outlaw room is a new mattress. The one in the room is very hard an

We stayed in the Miners cabin and it was a wonderful space. We enjoyed morning coffee on the upstairs deck off the bedroom. Easy walking to restaurants and shops. The owners were very pleasant and worked hard to check us in early. The Inn had a wonderful court yard with wonderfu

How far from the Orvis Hot Springs? Any nighttime transportation options to/from Orvis?
Orvis Hot Springs is another awesome soaking spot here. It is 9 miles north of Ouray proper. You can drive or ride a bike. The other hot springs is the local Ouray Hot Springs, and that is within walking distance of anywhere in Ouray. It's true, we are a small town.

Hello Hikesedona and others, About your review of the Main Street Inn Ouray, was there any smell of smoke in the Aspen Suite. I know they welcome smokers. Regards, Gary
Good question. We do not allow cigarette smoking inside anywhere on the property. People are instructed to smoke cigarettes on the decks with the windows and doors to the rooms closed, and our guests are super comfortable with that and graciously compliant. I am a "reformed" smoker, so I would smell it, and I check every room. No smoke. Thanks for asking

What is the Miners Cabin like? No mention of it. Thanks,
Hi, Thanks for the inquiry! The Miners' Cabin is a separate, private, two-story cabin located behind the Main House of Ouray's Main Street Inn. This rustic and spacious cabin is perfect for any group. It is very popular, so BOOK EARLY. A full kitchen, dining area, and a private bath with shower are on the ground level. The upstairs of the Miners' Cabin has two queen beds, a double convertible futon, a Satellite Flat Screen TV, and a private "kids nook" with door and two built-in 5'6" mini beds. The Miners' Cabin has French doors opening to a private deck with a southern view of The San Juan Mountains. An east-facing deck is on the lower level along with a Weber Grill. Pets welcome. $129-$149 per night plus taxes for four. Additional people $10 each, up to a total of eight, additional bedding available. For photos of Miners' Cabin and all of our guest lodging, go to our website and click on "Our Rooms." Thanks again! Steve & Nova
