My husband and I were looking for a place last minute and this was a good choice. It was clean and quiet. I would suggest if you're staying in a cabin type 1 like we did, be prepared for cold weather like bring a space heater or blanket. There isn't any heat so it gets chilly. The only complaint we...

Hubby and I were driving to Colorado, looking for a campground to camp overnight, I found Pagosa Springs in the map, and wanted to check it out. The town is so cute, there are a few cute restaurants and bar options, everything is lovely. We didn't go to the hot springs, but Pagosa Riverside Campground was amazing. We camped right...

We thoroughly enjoyed our choice of campgrounds above Durango. Meeting friends at the Silverton train station which is about 1 and 1/4 hours away, we drove through some of the most beautiful fall colors ever along the "Million Dollar Highway" in the late summer (campground closes Oct 1 for the winter). We have an iconic '47 teardrop trailer so we...

Viewed a number of RV sites, so glad we chose Pagosa Riverside. An old KOA campground, well kept up. We reserved a site right on the river. When we arrived, we were escorted to our site and asked if we needed assistance. Great staff. 5 minutes to Pagosa Springs. We will visit again. Beautiful location.

Very nice staff, clean bathrooms and everything you need at the camp store. You can float the river without any crowds right next to your campsite. Pets are welcome and the campground was very dog friendly.

You might not give it 5 stars, but I found it very nice to be riverside with very nice bathrooms and excellent free WiFi. The staff run a very tight ship, but seem friendly, not obnoxious. The sites are close together and the place is a mixture of coarse gravel and grass. A fair number of tall shade trees.

We just love this campground. It is situated right on the San Juan River. Campers are friendly and courteous. Everyone picks up after their pets. The sites are large and very comfortable. The only glitch is the wifi, but most campgrounds are the same. If you sit by the office it works just fine. I definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here last year in almost the same spot. Utilities are in good locations, but the spaces are small. You're right on the San Juan river, but it sure was muddy while we were there. They have spa tickets for $4 off the door price, which we've done both years. It's close to town: 10 minutes max. Not much...

The reason we come around the night before to remind campers of the 11am checkout is that we have been having quite a few problems with campers (both tenters and RV'ers) not checking out on time - some leaving the park in the am to go to the springs or breakfast and not returning to leave until noon or later....

There is a small river that runs along the edge of this place and backs up to a tree lined hill. Location is prime! The people who work here are outstanding and friendly! That's what makes it such a great experience. Very dog friendly. Everyone has a dog.
