We are so glad you had a good stay. We just restocked all the kitchens with new pots and pans, and utensils in the past couple of months, to ensure our guests would have enough variety so they could cook easily. I am sorry about...More

The owners of High Country were just wonderful. Our cabin was the perfect setting and stayed very warm at night when the temp would drop to 20 degrees outside. The hot tubs were a treat and we greatly enjoyed the sledding hill and breakfast. Coffee...More

It sounds like you had a great family trip this winter! We hope you will come back often in different seasons, and see all that this corner of Colorado has to offer. It would take a long time to exhaust all the adventures that are...More

Picked this place right before almost booking a cabin through VRBO and very glad I did. The very good complimentary breakfast, and discount lift tickets made it a great value. Simple, clean hotel room and very conveniently located. I think it would be a great...More

We are so glad you picked High Country Lodge, and had a great stay! And you are very right, about reunions. Many reunions use HCL as a venue, and it is a popular spot for weddings as well. You mentioned a lot of amenities in...More

We have stayed in the hotel rooms and cabins, both are clean and nice but the beds and pillows could stand an update. The location is perfect (easy to the slopes and to town) breakfast is great, the three outdoor hot tubs are awesome, plus...More

You have a point about the beds and pillows-we are in the middle of updating many things, including linens, pillows, etc. We would like to wave a wand and instantly transform everything the way we would like, but being on a budget like most of...More

Will most likely stay here if returning to Pagosa Springs or Wolf Creek. Excellent amenities including hot tubs, sauna, cabins, and sledding hill in the right season. 20 min from Wolf creek and even closer to pagosa springs, which was nice since it was away...More

We enjoyed hosting you during your recent ski trip! The snow was great, and we had a wonderful winter at HCL with old friends and new ones! We hope to see you the next time you come our way. The welcome mat is always out....More
