My daughter and I needed a place to spend just one quick night on our way to Lake City so we stopped off here thinking $100 would get us a decent place to stay. Wrong! The place smelled like a pot emporium in the hallway. We never did figiure out the smell in the bathroom/vanity area but it was rather...

First Inn is nothing special, and it does not pretend to be. Our recent stay was on a guys only motorcycle trip through the mountains for a few days. So, our bar was not set all that high. Generally clean rooms, nice staff, and "420" friendly (aka pot smoking). Gave us a good nights sleep without incident. The 420 aspect...

If you're into fancy, keep driving. If you like firm mattresses, good breakfasts and lots of ammenities, keep driving. For us, it was an average 1950's motel. Wall A/C unit, two straight backed chairs, an old Magnavox TV. The toilet had some mold around the rim, the sink cracked and stained. But, the price was good, the proprietor friendly and...

I'm a positive guy and can overlook a number of things but this place made our skin crawl. Facility was dirty, old and many things in disrepair. Almost left and just forfeited our payment once we pulled back the sheets and say the stained and filthy sides of the box springs. Hopefully, management will realize this type of quality is...

We were just passing through and needed a place to sleep. It was cheap but clean. It even had an actual key to open door! The breakfast wasn't very good (small muffins and cinnamon rolls) but held us over for a while.

Stayed a couple of days on the way up to Denver and found out they had a fishing pond in the back. My wife and I bought our fishing licenses and she caught the first trout. Many more came. What a sweet surprise. Hotel was old but clean and inexpensive

First of it is supposed to be cheap, but it offers a very friendly staff, free sauna and indoor hottub. (we only used the hottub, was good). Grass yard in the back. Quiet, wifi working good, little breakfast to get you started on the road. Cons: little old, but totally fine working equipment.

Just an average older motel. No elevator to the 2nd floor. Very few outlets in the room; we had to unplug the clock and the microwave to get enough outlets for our stuff. The room was clean and the price was reasonable at $76. Continental breakfast was sad with powdered creamer for the coffee and just rolls to eat. It's...

What at first pass comes off as an average tourist town hotel, the First Inn really is a little gem. My pet was welcome ( on a leash ) and the back yard is what really made this place shine for us. The litttle gazebo and BBQ grills right on one of two fishing ponds helped us enjoy the great...

We recently stayed here for 3 nights while we skied at Wolf Creek. This is a nice clean comfortable place. The hot tub and steam room were clean and convenient after skiing all day. The staff was great and helpful, directing us to affordable dining and live music right across the street. Lift tickets were available at the front desk....
