Jonathan (British) has owned and operated the Redstone Cliffs Lodge for many years and has made it as comfortable as possible for his guests. We enjoyed spacious, well-heated rooms with cozy king beds. The wi fi worked!! (Nothing cellular worked in this mountain valley.) We came in late November so the hot tub overlooking the river was not working, but...

We stayed here for three nights for a wedding in town. Our room was super clean, comfortable, cozy, well designed and the kitchenette was perfect for our breakfast and lunches. Jonathan was respectful and we didn't need anything after our initial check in. That to me is a sign of a good fit! We highly recommend the mountain hikes in...

The town of Redstone is a quaint small town – very small town in the heart of the Rockies off of Highway 133. It seems that most people keep on driving on Highway 133, and don't take the time to stop in this charming little town. In the center of town is a wonderful lodge called the Redstone Cliffs Lodge....

We were able to book a spot at Redstone Cliffs Lodge at the last minute and were so glad we did. The room was very comfortable, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. The Lodge has a lit patio on the river that we could enjoy for hours. The owner was very nice to us and helpful. We really...

I have noticed a few negative reviews for this place, but I will have to admit I and my husband did not have any such experience. Neither of us had ever visited Redstone before, so the little historical town itself is worth visiting. From the gorgeous Red Cliffs, to the fascinating Coke ovens (most still intact) at the town's entrance,...

Beautiful location and used to be a great place but new management is poor. I had stayed here every summer for nearly 10 years however new management ended up cancelling reservations we had made over 6 months ahead of time. All indication was the town had a busy weekend and they could make more by cancelling our reservations and increasing...

This refers to a booking that did not go ahead and a guest who is vindictively trying to damage our excellent reputation by adding more reviews for the same reservation that they cancelled in July. The guests wanted to arrange a large party on site but refused to say how many people they were inviting and when. In the interests...

We stayed here for five nights while exploring the Crystal River Valley. The owner/manager was just wonderful. This inn is dog friendly. We found our room comfortable, clean, and the kitchenette was just perfect. The grounds are beautiful as the property abuts the Crystal River, and they have chairs, lounges, and a couples' swing right near the river. There were...

I'm really surprised at the negative review below. I'm not excusing Jonathan, the owner, since I have no idea what he did (or didn't do) to these people, but I found him to be very nice. I loved my room (#5) and the setting right by the beautiful Crystal River. My only complaint was the shower which had a really...

I spent the 4th of July weekend at the Redstone cliffs with my family in 2 separate rooms along with 2 additional rooms at the Crystal Valley Manor (which I would highly recommend in place of this property if available) The rooms are nice and the property is pretty, but the owner made us feel uncomfortable and totally unwelcome. Also,...

This guest booked two rooms both non pet friendly, they arrived with a dog, we offered an alternative room but they declined. The guest checked in two adults and subsequently without telling us moved a family of four from the motel down the road into our motel. When we saw a lot of people at the Grill we asked where...
