This mountain lodge has a fun Euro feel to it and is incredibly warm and comfortable. The main living areas of this fabulous Inn boast comfortable leather seating, lush dark wood and fixtures, and charming historical photos of years past in the river valley. Two streams run through the 20 private acres, so there is the constant peaceful hum of... More

My husband and I were at the Redstone Inn Summer 2013 as part of a driving trip from Ohio. We flew into Denver, and continued a loop around Colorado, beginning in Estes Park, and ending up in Durango, and back to Denver. We knew The Redstone was off the beaten path, but we like digging up history, and exploring, and... More

We had a basic room, which was fine. We did have a problem the second night with a whistling radiator. It took a long time to locate the source of the problem--at about 4 a.m.--but someone came when we did determine the source and offered us another room, which was a little newer and quite nice. This didn't make up... More

So loud with no sound insulation whatsoever. Lock on the door to the room was exactly like the kind of lock one put's on a bathroom door. No security whatsoever. Carpet was dirty emerald green. Even for a historic property, this room was so outdated it was unreasonable. I have stayed (by preference) at historic hotels all over the county... More

We are extremely sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us at The Historic Redstone Inn. Thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts. It sounds like you stayed in one of the Terrace rooms. We appreciate that you noticed all of the issues in those rooms. The Terrace rooms are the next... More

Redstone Inn is a wonderful getaway from the craziness of life. It's a place to unplug as there is no cell service. (There is wi-fi.) The staff is very friendly and the rooms are extremely clean. We took a sleigh ride and it was beautiful! If you like a unique and historical hotel, the Redstone Inn is for you.

My sweetheart and I stayed at Redstone Inn Dec 28 - 31. It is so cozy, quiet and comfortable. We had enjoyed an overnight visit nearly a year earlier, and decided to enjoy part of a long weekend there before heading to Taos. He and I had only booked one night, but after our first leisurely day strolling in the... More

We stayed here for a wedding in July and enjoyed the outdoor property immensely. The pool looked really nice and was enjoyed in the sunshine. We had breakfast at the inn, which was fantastic (juevos rancheros - yum!). We also had dinner at the wedding and that food was fantastic as well. The decor is quaint throughout the inn which... This was our 2nd stay at the Redstone Inn and it was wonderful! We met good friends there and spent two nights. Before we even got there, we were impressed with Jacob's patience as we called numerous times to get things coordinated. We enjoy the comfort and coziness of the inn and its rooms, as well as the friendliness and... More

What makes a stay at the Redstone Inn very special is the wonderful food! A great slice of history in western Colorado! We stayed 2 nights in the heavy snow and bitter cold, but had a wonderful time in this cozy ambiance of the inn, decorated for the holidays. The food at lunches and dinners could not have been better,... More
