We were pleasantly surprised to fin electric hookups in a state park campground. Most sites are pull-through for easy RV access. There are campground facilities throughout with clean restrooms and laundromats. The views of the reservoir and surrounding hills and San Juan Mountains are gorgeous.

We went in on the Dallas Creek side and were able to drive right to the water's edge. A little muddy at the water, but kids had a blast. The wind picks up in the afternoon, so be prepared when you're out on the paddle...More

Can't describe the experience. You really have to be there to understand what the mountains are like. Not anyplace like it anywhere. We enjoyed a nice, peaceful walk up and carried down unforgettable images of waterfalls and views indescribable by picture. Go here.

Dutch Charlie has two areas - Elk Ridge and Dakota Terraces. We stayed there at the end of May 2014 in our 37' 5th wheel. We did not have reservations. We drove through Elk Ridge to look for a site. Most of them did not... More
