The proprietors really make this a unique experience with great attention to detail, freedom to roam and mingle with the animals. The food is outstanding, pure and organic and the furnishings extremely comfortable. The location is great, WIFI worked perfectly well and the place is neat as a pin. I definitely would recommend a stay here which truly felt like home.

We had a great time here. We brought our dog with us and it was great. There is a designated dog area for them to run free. We also enjoyed the hiking trail around the property. The breakfasts were great and the charcuterie tray was delicious. We loved watching and playing with the goats. We will go back!

Thank you so much Christy and Russ! We enjoyed your visit as well. Lets try that cheese making at home okay? You left during the goat yoga so I didnt get to give you the other cheese that we made (Haloumi and fromage blanc) that were up in the kitchen. I am sorry about that. Hopefully we will meet again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Mountain Goat Lodge! The room was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the collection of DVDs as well as the beautiful chess set. Combined with the hot tub, we had a great time without needing to leave. We also enjoyed getting to know Gina and Darcy during our cheesemaking class and while eating the delicious homemade breakfasts each morning! We left with some tasty cheese and happy memories.

Stayed here for a weekend in Jan 2021 and had an amazing stay. Room was very nice, hosts are friendly, breakfast was delicious, goats are adorable and the dog made himself right at home. Close to Mt. Princeton and Cottonwood hot springs, and hiking/snowshoeing in San Isabel National Forest. A perfect mountain getaway!
