Owners Mike and Sara are very personable and responsive to all questions and requests. The breakfast is absolutely incredible. The property "mascot", Moose is a hoot!! Property is very convenient to downtown Salida and is very peaceful if you just want to kick back and relax. If traveling back to Salida this would be THE place for us to stay.

We stayed in the main bed and breakfast as opposed to the chalets. The Henry Tudor room was fantastic. The owners, Mike and Sara, are great and the breakfast was delicious. Their little guard dog Moose is the best.

We were gifted a weekend stay by our kids. We had stayed here more than five years ago and were pleased with that visit too, but the new younger owners are adding more 'zip' to the decor which is now in progress. Very comfortable, clean, accomodating (we forgot to sign up for breakfast the night before, but since we were up super early they kindly added us in). The property is fun to explore with the old cabins down the trail. We sat out on the deck in the sunshine to read, did some birdwatching, lounged in the front yard. We snowshoed the Old Monarch Road which is within about 15 minutes-very fun. Salida is just a few minutes away for a coffee, ice cream, or dinner.

We had a great stay at the Tudor Rose over spring break. The rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We loved the location - being on acreage makes it feel secluded in the woods, but the drive to restaurants "in town" is only 5 minutes. We hope to stay here again!

Loved the Whitewater Guest room at the Bed & Breakfast. The new owners of the Tudor Rose, Mike and Sara were great hosts and extremely personable we loved our time there and the conversations. My wife and I spent 5 days and 4 nights here and loved every minute. My wife and I enjoy B & B’s across the State, this is now our favorite and we will be back again. The breakfasts were delicious, Mike’s was very good too, so he cannot worm his way out of making them in the future. Romeo is a great dog for the site and glad to share space with him. The Mt Princeton Hot Springs were close by and a welcome treat after a day of snowmobiling with Monarch Snowmobile Tours. Skiing was right up the road at Monarch and downtown was easy to reach and enjoy the entire scene. I would recommend the Tudor Rose property for any event and would say just go and recharge well worth the time spent at this wonderful location.
