This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Salida Inn and Monarch Suites. We love the rooms and the consistency of the service. Good beds with multiple pillow choices. Fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker in the room. Daniel at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and redone. Hot tub was perfect following a WET day of rafting. Love Salida and Salida Inn and Monarch Suites. Highly recommend!

It’s not the fanciest place you can stay in the area but you can’t beat it for the price. It’s in a great location and our room was very clean. It has all the amenities you would expect from a hotel nowadays including a hot tub and pool. The staff were also nice though the continental breakfast is very basic and bed was very stiff.

Location: On US 50 about five miles from town. Must drive to restaurants, etc. Property: Motel set up with doors facing parking lot. The rooms are behind the entrance. No road noise. Not particularly appealing aesthetically. Outdoor carpet needs cleaning. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Room: Very good. Large size. Great mattress. Segregated sitting area. A total of four chairs and a love seat. Shower/commode in a separate room from the vanity. Price: Reasonable

Really glad I stayed here. It is about half way between Durango and Denver. I have stayed at their sister property, Loyal Duke Lodge too. I am in a cottage with a king bed and jacuzzi tub shower combo. Cute patio area out back. Kitchen table, Keurig, microwave and fridge. Clean and comfortable. Sometimes you need a jacuzzi bath! Definitely worth the extra splurge. Their regular rooms are nice too!

We had extended stay and the room worked out great. Great price, fridge, microwave, comfortable bed. Location was just about 2 minutes from dog park, trail. and close to walmart! Seems to have been redecorated recently as well. Very dog friendly. Daniel and Valerie were very helpful with side trips, looking up information on computer for us. I enjoyed bagels each morning and coffee. Would stay there again.
