First of all, everyone there was super friendly. I was there for 4th of July and it was nearly all sold out of course, yet they were able to accommodate a room that was pet . friendly for my dog Loki. This hotel has undergone a huge transformation, the room was impeccable, and completely renovated. The bathroom was beautiful, the...

We stayed at this wonderful old hotel, lovingly restored by the Harper family for two nights which included the narrow gauge train ride from Durango (an experience not to be missed). What a beautiful job they have done. The staff is very friendly and helpful...they even carry your bags up the stairs to your room-no elevator). Our room was very...

Was excited to stay here. If you are looking to spend 200+ a night and there not be coffee available anywhere in the building, this is your place. True, when making the reservation I asked if there was a coffee pot or refrigerator in the room. I was told no but that I could come downstairs for coffee. OK, figured...

Thank you for your honest feedback, we chose not to place alarm clocks in the rooms as most people prefer to use their phones but we do have clocks available at the front desk should a guest desire to use one during their stay. We lease the space to the coffee shop which opens at 7:00 am each day. The...

Spent two nights at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Silverton as a well-earned rest while through-hiking the 500 mile Colorado Trail. The hotel is on the main drag in the middle of town with lots of unique shopping, restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly, courteous and provided exceptional service. We had a third floor corner room (windows on two...

We stayed at the Grand Imperial for a couple of nights so we could attend a wedding. The newly renovated rooms are very nice. A real step back in time in this old mining town, but the rooms had what you needed. Great shower, nice bed, satellite TV, WiFi, etc. Our room (219) was supposed to be haunted, but we...

Stayed at the Grand Imperial Hotel for one night in between train rides from Durango. Clean, newly renovated room still with the antique feel. Unique hotel, friendly staff, and reportedly some otherworldly residents as well! Water pressure was out of this world and shower heated up in an instant. Stayed on the north-east side of the building which is right...

We stayed as part of a package with the Durango-Silverton Railroad and had a terrific overnight. The location is perfect to see everything in Silverton and the room was fresh and charming. The package included a delicious dinner in the hotel dining room as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodationg.

Not only does it ooze character and history, the rooms are surprisingly well appointed with modern character fittings in keeping with a historic hotel. The bar and the bullet hole add to the legend. The restaurant was excellent to and the staff very helpful and courteous. No lift but I'd recommend stay here if you are passing through

I am very disappointed with this hotel that is supposed to be an old, pretty Victorian style hotel. We had one of the 'best' rooms paying $220 for one night. When we entered the room it was still a mess so we had to leave so housekeeping could do their job. The outside promises quality, but the inside is poor...

Thank you for your input, we endeavor to have all rooms clean and ready by our afternoon check in time but some days guests leave a little later which delays our access to the rooms.

We stayed in one of the suites on the top floor, I think it is the only one that is pet friendly. It has a small living room as well as the bedroom area and bathroom. It was absolutely spotless!!!! The furnishings were beautiful and the bed linens and towels were very nice too. We did only have a full...
