On a Jeep/hike/skateboard trip in July 2016 where I had been staying in Leadville for over a week I happened upon some very lovely ladies climbing a ridiculously steep 13er. Stopped and ate lunch and chatted with them when they started asking me where I was from, what I had planned, etc. They all got very excited at finding out...

Not your luxury hotel but just what we wanted!! A very clean room, super friendly owner, Andy. He is there to help with whatever you need. Stayed last year also. If we come back that way , we will stay again.

This motel is a bit homely and plain but the rooms are clean, the bed is very good, bath is fine. Really no problems. Andy, the manager, is great which seems important somehow. Its all very casual but thats the way it is in Silverton. There is nothing more to say here, there is no pool, no breakfast. Just a...

"My friend Carole and I traveled to Silverton together, which had been on the bucket list for quite some time. We decided all we had to do was get in the car and LEAVE! We are so happy we did – it was all we expected and MORE! Nothing, no words, no descriptions, could adequately describe our experience, of which...

We stayed in room #1 and the bathtub was disgusting. Mold and stains. We could not use it and we ended up taking sponge baths. The room had no lamps or nightstands--only overhead lighting that was way too bright. At check-in, we were asked "What level of housekeeping do you want?" The room faced the street and the sidewalk was...

What an amazing town and I don't know anywhere this beautiful that you could stay for this price. Andy, the owner is a nice guy Who has lived there for a number of years and is always willing to help or guide your adventure for the day. He's also very flexible and willing to work with you on your study/travel...

Wouldn't stay there again. Strangely loud. No screens on the windows so bugs bugs bugs. Clean for as clean as old and out dated could be. And not outdated in a historical sense. We had three rooms and we were all thankful the short stay was over. On the good side, the manager was very very nice and accomadating. Here...

Why pay up and stay at a stuffy "B&B"...stay here and meet a real owner who cares. Andy makes it fun and that is so cool. Walk around Silverton and explore some local pubs and local pubs. After seeing some local pubs you might want to take a nap in your wonderful king size at the Prospector.

Upon arrival in Silverton at ~ 6:00 p.m. I looked for a place to stay as I had travelled a long way on my motorcycle that day. I went to the office and there was a note on the door to call the owner. He was having dinner at home but arrived very quickly. We had a great chat and...

The rooms were clean, comfy and big! Reminded me of a 70's cabin feel but just added to the ambience of the town! No fridge, or microwave but cable tv and the wifi is decent but to be expected in small mountain towns. Stocked with clean towels and extra soap and toilet paper. Friendly owner as well.
