Opened in December of 2018, the new Limelight Hotel and Residences brings its warm hospitality style and famous Lounge to the heart of Snowmass Village. The 99-guestroom hotel features the same laid-back luxury that made the Limelight Hotels in Aspen, Colorado and Ketchum, Idaho famous (with a dash of family-centric fun to make it uniquely Snowmass). The new hotel features an ice rink, climbing wall, lively lounge, and a play area for kids.

Great location and a fantastic breakfast. The hotel staff were attentive and ensured our stay was perfect. One of our bags managed to get lost at Denver on our way to resort and the hotel were more than happy to drive us to Aspen Airport once the airline had finally sent our

We booked a luxury suite wElsewhereit een beds for 8 nights. When we got here, they say they only have four such rooms in this category, all the others are smaller, and because we did not specify a high floor specifically in the reservation, all they can do is put us in a noisy

Dear Sabrina S, It was a pleasure getting to know your family while we hosted you in Snowmass, and I'm looking forward to your updated review. I realize that you had a stressful travel day and arrival experience. Our team presented 3 options for alternative rooms and you decided to remain in your originally booked room. I'm truly sorry that Chad's compassion did not come across as genuine. I assure you he genuinely intended to request your input on best next steps to accommodate your family after you declined any of our initial efforts to fulfill your requests. We are all thrilled that the remainder of your stay was wonderful with your family and that you even considered extending your stay. I hope that you will consider sharing that experience in this forum as well. Warm regards, Lindsay Cagley | General Manager

PROS: Great location in snow mass base village right next to Elk Camp Gondola, ice rink, Four Mountain Sports ski equipment rental store and shops. It’s a new, modern hotel with well appointed rooms, warm decor and a low-key relaxed atmosphere. It has a great and often lively

Dear john-living-life-67, Thank you for sharing your feedback through this review and over the phone. We are so pleased you enjoyed our restaurant and apres ski scene at the Limelight Lounge, however we fell short in many areas during your stay and I do take responsibility for this. It can be difficult to be compared to 5 star properties that offer many layers of luxury service when we aim to be a truly approachable property and offer pricing in luxury residences that can be significantly less than our Aspen counterparts. Either way, I sincerely apologize for the areas where we need improvement. We take every opportunity to fine tune our service, and guest feedback is the best way for us to identify areas for change. It is true, Limelight Hotels do not offer ski valet service on property. Being ski in and ski out we have provided a storage area for our guests to self-store skis and boots that features state of the art Wintersteiger equipment racks and boot dryers. We are looking into the possibility of having a staff member who can assist guests during peak times. Please forgive our temporary garage arrival experience. The interior of the garage allows for ample parking for our guests, however, the aesthetics and cosmetic design are not yet complete. Our team is available to assist guests with luggage and all of the gear that comes with skiing, however they are not stationed in the garage full time. We do offer special programming at the Limelight that is included with your stay on a first come first serve basis. Our staff should have mentioned these programs to you as well as being included on your pre-arrival communications. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next stay and being the host hotel for your Colorado adventures! Warm regards, Lindsay Cagley | General Manager

Excellent hotel, next to gondolas. Can be ski-in, ski-out. Skating rink in front of the hotel. Awesome service. Free pickup shuttle from hotel. Extremely recommended. I love the low key attitude of Snowmass as compared to other destinations. Bus to Aspen is in the hotel parking.

Is this a real ski-in/ski-out hotel ? Can I leave from the hotel using my skis or I have to walk until the pists??
Dear fbmelo, The answer is absolutely yes! Limelight Hotel Snowmass is located on a ski trail. Guests can ski down to the Assay Hill lift or access the Elk Camp Gondola or the Village Express Chair within a very short walk. 7 of our guestrooms have direct access to the ski slope without walking through the hotel. I hope this answers your question! Warm regards, Lindsay Cagley | General Manager
