My family has been coming here for over 30 years and I finally got to take my kids (9 & 7). So much to do for everyone: fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mini golf, paddle boats, street dances, and the list goes on. If you are ever bored here it's your own fault!

First of all the location is incredible.Nestled in the basin of Colorados foothills up in the mountains and with the mighty CO river flowing right alongside it. Our cabin was right near a bridge over the river which quickly became my favorite spot. It was so relaxing and great family fun. I caught my first trout here, and ate it...

We (two adults, 12 yo, and 6 yo) stayed for two nights and it wasn't enough. Go fishing in the pay-by-the-inch pond. Its fun! The only issue we had was the water level was too low for tubing. Had to drag your tube through some shallow parts. But that isn't the resorts fault. Great time! Will go again!

We have been coming here for 20 years and the place is still the same. I love the RV park but it desperately needs updating. All in all it is a great family place to stay. I love that it is gated and kids are safe to enjoy the activities on site. But please a few updates here and there...

Took our RV to Fun Valley for the first time this year after hearing about it for years. It was awesome! Ponds for trout fishing, trails to hike, saw some bears, on site grocery store, gas station, gift shop and restaurant, mini golf and bicycles for rent, it truly is a one stop destination! The camp sites were nice and...

This is our 4th stay at Fun Valley. They have changed owners and now they charge for all the activities. One of the main reasons I stay at a resort is the free activities! Disappointed! I don't know that we'll be coming back.

We went in June 2015. Great place, all ages and activities for everyone! Stayed in one of the little quaint trailers and had everything we possible could have needed. Evening activities found us watching square dancers and round dancers, which was just so incredibly fun!!

This was our first trip to Fun Valley and we were a little apprehensive because of the some of the negative reviews, We arrived as scheduled and was welcomed by the friendly staff. We were given a "newsletter" with the activities that were happening as well as meal times and tid bits about the park. We were assigned a spot...

We have been going to Fun Valley for 30+ years. There are many negative comments on this site about the new owners and many referring to the original owners, Mack and Jean Henson. On one of our first trips we met Mack & Jean. They were very outgoing and accommodating and never seemed to meet a stranger. When Mack and...

Been coming to Fun Valley for many years, recently has changed ownership. There are plenty of things to do here including food, fishing, games, and recreational activities for families. New owners are working on getting the place repaired and upgraded which I do believe takes time. Make sure to plan ahead (reservations) as spots do fill up quick in the...
