We have camped in Steamboat Springs on three different occasions. Each time at the Steamboat RV Park. On those occasions we would characterize the park as adequate because it was old and had a minimum of amenities. If it rained the water would collect around the coach and made a rather muddy situation. This is the only campground unless you...

Worst KOA in the country. Filthy cabins and restrooms. Wood that would char but not burn. Fire pits with no way for air to flow. Uncaring staff. All the reasons I've come to love KOA and choose them above other campsite are right out the window at this place. This is a prime example of what a KOA shouldn't be....

Way over priced, dust and mud, heavy road traffic. This is more of trailer park for poor people. Looks have construction workers and such living out of their dilapidated RVs. Says free cable, but only for premium sites. Surprised they are allowed to keep the KOA name. This park will of course have a real problem during wet conditions. Unpaved...

We took the family up to this KOA location in Steamboat this past weekend. Granted, there were a few things on the website that were not accurate at this point of the "renovations", but we had nothing but praise for the staff and the way things were handled. We had a 4 person Deluxe cabin and 2 single cabins on...

I would give them zero stars if I could. I stopped in there a couple days ago in the late afternoon. It was far more expensive than any previous KOA I have visited. But, okay, it's a tourist trap so fine. Nobody told me there was a baseball tournament that weekend and the campground was very, very full of adults...

Our campsite was not clean; there was an old handkerchief, some paper towels and shampoo bottle scattered in various places over the site. The RV sites near the river are very short, our 30 foot unit barely fit. The wi fi is painfully slow. Just downloading this page took ages. On the plus side the river is right here. The...

My husband and I stopped by to check on availability and cost for full hookups for a couple of nights. We were met in the office by a teenager whose overt rudeness (facial expression and eye rolling) were inexcusable. Clearly the other recent reviews were accurate. The cost of $60 a night was expected but not acceptable. We continued to...

Though this property sits on the Yampa river, it is situated next to a very unattractive trailer park that looks more like a garbage dump. If you come to CO to camp, you probably come to enjoy the outdoors and the scenery. Steamboat is a great town. Too bad the campground is such a let down! They actually ran out...

We do a lot of traveling and by far this is the worse KOA campground we have ever been at! Our water pressure was so low it bearly flush toilet , evenings they shut off the water entirely, staff at desk were rude, never see anyone going around the park checking on things. Roadway around park was uneven and rough....
