Great way to unwind after a day of skiing . Hidden in the back woods you won't be disappointed. Don't try and go after dark as it turns into a "adults only" spa. Didn't stick around for that . $20 to get in on weekends and $17 during the week. Get there early as the parking lot fills fast ....

This place is the most awesome place...Warm water like taking a bath but with a bathing suit on... Really nice people to talk to and you can stay as long as you like within their open hours.. You have to go there if you are in Steamboat Springs...Beautiful place to be.

I had no idea what I was getting into, I booked the day just as something different to do on my own when I was in Steamboat. It was a blustery snowy day and I headed up from Steamboat in a van and drove with 15 other people to the Hot Springs. It was a gorgeous, treacherous drive thru the...

It's a little drive outside of town, beautiful trip and probably a good idea to have chains or 4wd as suggested during the Winter. We went the day after Thanksgiving. Bring boots or shoes that have some traction. The area around the pools gets slick! There is a small changing area as well. Not easy to navigate for anyone with...

We spent a weekend in Steamboat Springs and visited the Strawberry hot springs. This is a natural spring along a river in a remote area. There are several pools at mildly different temperatures around 104 degrees. Also a cold water pool as well. The facility is basic but truly outstanding in how they have developed the area. We spent a...

My boyfriend and I followed GPS up a winding, unpaved road in a compact car that hated inclines. Just when I was about to call it quits, we saw signs of human life. We parked and walked through 38 degree Fahrenheit weather to the little booth to pay our entry fee for the night. Some might think that's crazy--38 degrees...

BRING CASH - After a beautiful fall drive we arrived at the perfect time to get in the pools for sunset. The attendant informed us ONLY CASH and check were accepted and that it would be a 40 minute round trip back to town. We did not deviate from our plan. It was totally worth the drive back. We had...

My husband and I visited the hot springs in early September. We arrived on a Wednesday and stayed one night in tent site 4. We arrived a bit later than we intended (the drive through the mountains from Co. Springs is gorgeous in its own right!) and setup our tent as the sun fell below the mountains. We had a...

This is a hard place to figure out. The only sense I can make of Strawberry Hot Springs is to assume that the owners hate you. I mean, you can stay in a picturesque rustic cabin, but there isn't any place to store anything except on the floor. And there's a huge nest of yellow jackets living in the roof....

Stayed in a rustic cabin at the top of the hill from the springs. It was October, so the air was cool----The steam was evident from the hot springs. The small cabin was quaint. You do have to utilize the public showers/washrooms-so keep that in mind. The little gas heater in the mini cabin was sufficient. (and snuggling with your...
