While I wished I had a creek side room, this room was fine and clean. It had a mini kitchen, so that made staying in Telluride a bit more affordable. Knowledgeable front desk. No maid service unless you stay 5 days, I would at least have liked my trash emptied! Overall, a good location and reasonable price.

This room was awesome. It had just recently had a remodel. So the photos on the listing are not the room as of now. It is way better! We enjoyed the firm large pillows and the nice shower towels and plenty of them. It was quiet and close to the river walk. We will stay here again.

For this location -- just a few minute walk to the Gondola in Telluride -- Mountainside Inn is a good value. But you get what you pay for: this is a very basic property. Do not expect high end furnishings. But we were pleasantly surprised nonetheless with how functional it was. Comfortable beds, flat screen TV, good size bath (shower...

We were in room 218. It is described as 2 DBLS or 1 KING (Dbls pushed together to make the king). I did not indicate my preference so on the morning of our check in date, Heather called me from the property to ask what I preferred. This was great because I didn't think about it and didn't have to...

Thank you for your thorough review. We are pleased that you would return to the Inn and we hope you do. For the record, yes, the dryer is the same cost at the washer: $2.25. Sincerely, Heather White Manager

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending a motorcycle rally. Our kitchenette room was basic, but most people don't visit Telluride to hang out in their hotel room, so we found it satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, and the extra single bed gave us additional pillows to choose from. Be aware that daily housekeeping is not provided with these...

We knew that the Inn didn't have AC but if you plan on staying during the summer, expect to have a hot room. It was about 82 degrees outside during the day and the room never cooled down. There was a fan left in the room and we opened the window because it was cooler outside, but it didn't help....

Thank you for your review. Telluride does have a handful of hot days and most of the accommodations in our town do not offer air conditioning. There are a few that do and they are on the higher end of cost scale, however, this is an option for those few days that we do experience hotter weather. Sincerely, Heather White...

We were in Telluride for the Music Festival. Walking distance to event and downtown area. One block from the Gondola! Very convenient.Really nice location. Close to town with a view of the river at a good cost. Very quite also. I was lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the river just outside my window. Staff made me...

My fiance and I stayed here for one night as we were passing through. We chose this hotel because they allowed dogs. The accommodations are basic. The rooms need updating. The bed was way too firm for us. There was also an exterior light that was very brightly shining into our room. The curtains weren't heavy enough or wide enough...

We thank you for your review to share your experience. We have recently completed some capital improvement projects in replacing carpet, bath countertops, painting and a few other updates. We consider this property a modest and affordable accommodation for Telluride and are geared toward the visitors looking for the best cost and value. You visited during our 'off season' and...

Great location, within walking distance of everything (including lifts and gondola, and all the restaurants and shops in downtown Telluride). Really nice staff, with helpful recommendations about the town. The coffeemaker was a bit problematic and the two twin beds were narrow and just OK, but definitely appreciated the humidifier, the great kitchen, access to the hot tub, and easy...

Many thanks for your review. Mountainside Inn is a little different, being a 'condotel' rather than standard hotels in cities. We do not offer units with two queen beds. Our units have king beds that will split to two extra long twins if needed. We also offer units that have a queen bed, a twin bed and a small galley...
