We stayed at this lodge because it was close to the areas that I was hiking. It is also only an hour drive to Aspen over Independence Pass. Comfortable, clean and quiet in our little cabin. I would stay here again.

I stumbled upon this place while cruising the Internet for a highly recommended out of the way , really nice place to stay. All the recommendations about this place were spot on! I would like to go again and stay a couple of days and recharge my batteries in that cute cabin where we spent the night. The hiking looked...

Big thanks to Connie and Steve for a perfect experience after spending 4 weeks on the trail. Stayed in the crib. Perfect for one person. While small, the cabin has everything a person needs including a full kitchen. The history is even more interesting but that is for Connie to tell.

We stayed one night at Twin Lakes Lodge and thought the innkeepers were wonderful, the restored historic lodge was delightful, and the area was world class if you like historic Western/American/Mountain settings. During our evening in the bar area and over morning coffee we met and chatted with the owners who are as hardworking and friendly as one could imagine....

Stayed one night during a road trip in Colorado with my son and his girlfriend. The two rooms we had were nicely appointed and perfectly adequate if a little on the small side. Constance was a delightful hostess and presented a great continental breakfast with superb home made cinnamon buns, and fruit, which we ate on the porch with spectacular...

We stayed two nights in Room #3 - a back side larger room with two queen beds and a futon bed. What a comfortable, idyllic location for relaxing and soaking in lakes, creeks, and a valley ringed by the continent's most beautiful mountains. The inn has a welcoming atmosphere, including a pleasant porch and a lobby with a self-serve collection...

The lodge consists of a number of scattered rooms in sundry buildings, all of which have been nicely restored by the talented owners. It is a very charming place. A continental breakfast is provided and fresh delicious cinnamon buns were available [ one per guest] on one of the three days spent there. The lodge is close to the lake...

Adorable and cosy. The Hiker's room is too small for 2 people, so get a larger one if you can. The flowers around the porch and grounds are spectacular - a lot of attention to detail. Nice fruit laid out in the morning for breakfast. Very peaceful spot - we loved going across the street to sit on the precipice...

Just got back from 3 days here.Hesitate telling you how nice it is, LOL! It was a real treat. Steve and Constance are very sweet and run a cute lodge with a few cabins as well. Room #3 was very clean, two sinks, large shower, table and chairs, futon, TV, books for readers, nice comfy beds and nice towels. Continental...

This was my third time in Twin Lakes and staying at The Roadhouse is always such a pleasure. Steve and Constance are very gracious hosts and work very hard to make their guests feel comfortable. My boyfriend and I go to Twin Lakes to hike and after a long day on the trails, it is great to come back to...
