The hotel is fabulous, staff is friendly and helpful, location is fabulous, but daily resort fee/parking was $55+ per day. The fee wasn't disclosed when we booked on Expedia or upon check-in. I expected a parking fee but was shocked at the high resort fee on top of it.

Dear Gregory A, Thank you for the time to do a review. I always appreciate the recognition of the staff and our facility. I'm sorry the fee was a surprise. Unfortunately, it is a part of doing business in this market. On the Expedia site it is not as easy to find. As this was unexpected I'm happy to wave...

Rented a 2 bed, two bath condo. Probably last renovated in the 80's. Dark, small, under equiped and badly maintained. Examples abound but would it not be expected that the kitchen be minimally equiped with a complete set of dishes, silverware and clean and adequate cooking pots and utensils? No paring knife, chopping board, one teaspoon, no bowls, three cups,...

Dear valerie m, Thank you for the time to do a review. I'm so sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations. We do have a package for the kitchens and I'm not sure why the items were missing. We should have caught this and I'm sorry we didn't. I would love the opportunity to make this up to...

At a friend's recommendation, I booked my first trip to Vail to stay here. I was so pleased in every way. The room was very nice, the staff extremely helpful, room service came very quickly, the bartenders were friendly, and the location was so central. I will be back next year!

This lodge is severely outdated for the price. Our first 2 bedroom condominium had never been updated. We objected and were given an updated unit, however, the hot water would run out after a few minutes and the room was noisy up to after midnight and by 6:30 each morning with trash truck pickups. This lodge is nothing like their...

The hotel is clean and centrally located to skiing, dining and shopping. The gym is nice and usually empty and the Australian Lobsters at Elways are the best. The spa is nice and the masseuse well trained.

Booked this trip for a 50th birthday. Easy access to hotel and valet very friendly and courteous. Front desk incredibly kind and accomodating. Decor in lobby nice and they provided hot chocolate and treats for nibbling. Room a bit dated. Was quoted a king bed and received a Queen pull down although comfortable. Kitchen adequate. Bathroom had tub and shower...

What an excellent location. The bell staff was top notch and made the arrival and departure from this property far better than average. The property is clean and comfortable. The room was large and well appointed and the layout well thought out. Also, the spa locker room allows for skiing on the morning of arrival and the afternoon of departure...

They tell me that the Lodge at Vail was one of the first resorts built here, but you can't prove it by me. Recent renovations, including live fire in the lobby AND live fireplace in the room. The concierge services are stellar, as is the whole property. On your next trip to Vail, as they say in Hawaii 5-0, 'Bookem,...
