I gotta tell ya' ... I really like the folks who work at this place. Everybody seems to be 'way above average when it comes to being friendly and helpful. It doesn't hurt that the place is perfectly located at the Gondola and has a restaurant and a ski outfit right in the building. I have stayed here the last...

For location you can't get any closer to the lift! We stayed in January this year for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms in the main lodge are a little outdated decor wise, but they are clean, with two queen size beds, so you can pick which one you wish to sleep in. Only complaint we would...

I really enjoyed this place. We stayed there in January of this year. Great service. The ski valet was very convenient. Loved the warm cookies in the lobby in the afternoon after a long day of skiing. The onsite breakfast restaurant was excellent and well priced. The view of Vail Mtn was breathtaking. The jacuzzi's were clean, large and inviting....

My wife and I were participating in an international fly fishing competition where the Lodge was the host hotel. When we arrived, the front desk was friendly and very accommodating. We did not want a condo by the pool, so they walked us to several condos and allowed us to pick the one we liked. Speaking of the pool, at...

Just my husband and I traveled to Vail this past weekend for a wedding, although we usually go during ski season it was a great change of pace to go during the fall. Located close to everything, shops, activities, restaurants and bars. Our room was clean, and spacious. I would recommend not having a room facing the parking lot on...

We stayed here in March for four nights. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was when we got into our room and saw the fabulous valley view which was a parking lot and a building under construction. The price was very expensive too! The front desk could not help me so I made several calls with the corporate reservation...

We were fortunate to stay here for a conference that was being held at the Marriott, which is next door. We have stayed at the Marriott many times and its just fine. But our "room" at Lion Square Lodge was exquisite. We were upgraded to Room 296, a two bedroom corner suite/condo with a rap around balcony. The living room...

Fantastic hospitality! When we arrived, the front desk person (I wish I could remember her name!) let us check in early, and gave us an upgrade to a room with a mountain view! I think it helped that we were there on a Sunday night and that the hotel was not busy, but the service was still excellent. The room...

We stayed 2 nights here on a weekend. It was very quiet. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Parking and internet is at no extra charge. The bathroom has a rain shower which was nice. They have Aveda toiletries. The lighting is rather dim. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not but that could be my taste....

Nice people, good service. Our comfortable room was on ground level in the back of hotel by the pool. Door opened out onto grassy lawn beside the bike/walking path with the river directly beyond. We had an unobstructed view of the mountain. Definitely ask for a room "with a view." This was our second stay and we would definitely stay...
