We stayed at the Evergreen Lodge for my daughter's lacrosse tournament. We were gone most mornings for games and back in the afternoon's. We always came back to our room freshly cleaned. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this hotel was in the evening as it is so near to the highway. I love the location as you can...

My wife and I spent a night at Evergreen Lodge in Vail. We enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff even provided us with a free room upgrade upon arrival when they learned it was our anniversary. The room was spacious and nice. One can tell that the place is a bit dated in its decor, elevator size, etc., but...

Very "lodgey" decor. The location was convenient; close and easy from the interstate. Parking was a tad difficult; we had to park a way away and the spot was a little tricky to get into. Staff was nice.

The front desk staff is great, Paul and Gabriel were super accommodating and very nice. This hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Lionshead Village and 8 minutes from Vail Village, if you want a bus you can catch the In town bus out the back door, about a 2 minute walk. You can also catch the other Vail...

Checked into a fist floor room that wasn't up to Evergreen Lodge standards and the front desk attendant, Paul, was extremely helpful in finding an alternative room. Thanks Paul for making the stay enjoyable.

On the free "town bus" between Vail Village and Lionshead - the Evergreen Lodge features rooms that are comfortable, but not luxurious. The bar rocks, the rooms have enough space for all your gear, the lobby is comfortable, and the south of the freeway location makes getting to the slopes, shopping or restaurants easy. Vail restricts vehicle traffic - thus...

My son and i did a quick spring break trip in late March 2015. Evergreen lodge was perfect for us. Reasonable walking distance - even in ski boots - to the shuttle stop. then it's just one stop away from the Lionshead Gondola. Or a nice 7-10 minute walk to the Village end of town. The rooms are decent -...

Great find! Maybe a little updating is in order but other than that, this hotel is definitely worth the stay. Can't beat the location, especially at the price. Shuttle stops right behind the building, or just walk two minutes to Lionshead Village. More importantly, the staff was helpful, friendly and very accommodating, especially Paul at the front desk. Definitely will...

Easily the best bang for your buck in Vail. By no means is this a luxury or modern hotel, but the staff is great and the rooms are spacious and clean. The location is central between Vail Village (maybe 10-15 min walk) and Lionshead (5-10 min walk). It's even closer to a bus stop. The hotel bar/restaurant has very fair...
