We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice with a great view of the mountains. Loved the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a great location close to restaurants and shops and Bart and Yeti's!! Will go there again!

We ended up having to stay an additional night due to an accident on I-70 and the road closing down. The Lift House Lodge had a few rooms available last minute. We had stayed here before in a similar on-the-fly scenario. The Lift House Lodge is about 300yards from the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead Village. There are many shops...

We enjoy the easy access to the shops, restaurants and outdoor activities. We appreciate being allowed to take our family pet who enjoys Vail as much as we do! The rooms are clean and there is no hassle parking with great views from the balcony. We recommend the Lodge for your Vail needs!

The lift house continues to be the best value in Vail for lodging. Clean rooms, great staff and great location. Very close to several great restaurants - Montauk, Bart and Yeti's, Garf's and Chop House to name a few within a couple minutes walk. Thanks for the great experience.

We could not have loved our stay at the Lift House Lodge any more! The balcony that faced the mountain was the perfect place for breakfast and coffee in the morning. When we left the balcony door open, we loved the sounds of all the different people walking through the village but when we closed it we loved the privacy...

We love this location. Great view of the mountains. Easy to get everywhere in Vail from here. We walked everywhere. Rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and very quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we already booked our return trip. They allowed our dogs to stay for an additional fee and they...

We are summertime mountain visitors, originally from Colorado. We have been consistently pleased with service and especially the cleanliness of this hotel. The location is ideal. Close to anything you'd want. Very dog friendly....and again, may I say CLEAN!

The two girls at front desk weren't friendly, no AC, the place hasn't been updated since the early 80's by our best guess. They hide extra person charges in with the taxes. The front desk closes at 5pm and check in is at 4pm so you'd better time that well. Check out is at 10am which is very odd. They...

Dear Brad, We are sorry to hear that your stay at the Lift House was frustrating. As with most hotels we do allow early check in when the rooms are ready, 4PM is a guideline, not a rule. We also allow late check outs if requested, as we did for you. The front desk closes at 9PM in the summer....

The Lift House Lodge is located right in the middle of Lionshead and has great little balcony overlooking the village. As long as you spend your time on the balcony - it's great. The interior is another story. The rooms are really dated and tiny. There are no windows, so the summertime heat can get uncomfortable without a cross breeze....

We are sorry to hear that your stay at the Lift House was frustrating. Additional person charges are customary in most hotels even if not booked in advance. The additional person fees are $30/night/extra person. Parking fees are also customary. We do not however charge resort fees as most places do. That said, it doesn’t change your guest experience. We...
