We stayed here for 2 nights using some stray Marriott points that I have been holding on to for awhile. I'm a Starwoods person and consequently do not stay at many Marriotts. I remember this place from sales conventions I attended in the late 80's and nothing much has changed. They gave us one of the worst rooms ( low...

We had a fine stay at this Marriott but nothing in particular stood out. On one hand, our suite was very roomy, everything was clean, the view was nice, and the location was convenient to both Lionshead and Vail Village. On the other hand, the decor was very tired, dark, and dated. The amenities were quite basic. For the off-season...

Our family stayed here in August of this year. I had read some reviews about the resort needing some updating, but I saw no problems in the area in which we stayed (Room 328). The bathroom was a good size with both a large shower and a tub, the room had a refrigerator (no free bottles of water like most...

My husband and I went for a conference but turned it in to a vacation--the hotel was wonderful. Clean, great rooms--we had a view of the gondola. Great hotel staff. The food at the bar by the lobby wasn't that great--and overpriced. but otherwise, wonderful stay.

I've stayed at the Marriott Vail Mountain Resort in the past and wrote a review praising the quality of the property itself, the proximity to local attractions, and just Vail in general (an amazing getaway for the summer)... so this review is specific to the staff that we worked with. Did want to point out that they got all new...

Here's a great place to stay in the summertime to get out of the heat! Fab views, rooms with a fireplace, friendly staff, really nice heated pool/spa, convenient shuttle service that stops right in front to take you to the villages of Lionshead and Vail Village! Loved it!!!!

This hotel could use some updating. Decor is Walmart 1970s 1980s. Tile is home depo specials. A good cleaning would be a good start. The carpets and floors in public spaces are dirty. The elevator floors have not had a real good cleaning ( corners!) in years. They checked my luggage and I had the unfortunate chance to see how...

The city hit a gas pipe during construction and the marriott had evacuate everyone. We hadn't checked in so we had all our luggage but 200 others in our conference had only the swimsuits or golf clothes, etc. The Marriott found rooms for everyone that night and were meticulous about making sure everyone had a room. One of our party...

We were in Vail for a wedding and stayed at the Marriott. This is a nice hotel with good service, and as expected in Vail, the price is inflated. The cost of the room was fine for the area; however, I find the other nuisance costs to be irritating. This includes the $15 per day resort fee and $21 per...

This was our second visit to this property and it is as wonderful as the first visit (July 2013). We stayed 6 nights. The rooms are a decent size with very roomy bathrooms. I comfortably worked in the room while my wife attended her conference downstairs. The location is great and we enjoy walking over both villages and hiking the...
