We just returned from Woodspur Lodge and our kids can't wait to go back next year!! This was our fourth trip to the Lodge and the kids don't ask to go skiing or to Winter Park, they ask to return to Woodspur. It is a great family environment where the kids have freedom to play while the parents can socialize....

Imagine a family reunion at Uncle Zeke and Aunt Zelda's ranch house. Uncle Zeke never met a home repair that he couldn't tackle with a chain saw and some Bulldog Supertack, and Auntie Zelda sees nothing wrong with stapling down some old carpet around the toilets to cover the 30 year old lino. Being four generations out from the old...

We spent five nights at the Woodspur with three families, including seven children from ages 15-6. The lodge is very rustic, warm and welcoming. The meals were hearty and plentiful. The staff is friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area and above all more than willing to help guests with anything. I would highly recommend this lodge for families, especially...

Our family loves coming to Winter Park every year and one of the big reasons is the Woodspur Lodge. You know when you walk into a place and it just feels like "home"? That is what Woodspur is for us. The decor is rustic, the food is good and the beds are comfortable. What sets them apart and keeps us...

My family of 6 (mom, dad, 4 kids, ages 9-15) loved our 5-night stay at Woodspur on our first trip to Winter Park. Highlights: (1) FOOD: Having healthy meals prepared for our family before/after a full day of skiing was AMAZING! The lodge serves full, healthy homemade breakfasts buffet style (eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, grits, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, cold cereals)...

Been coming here every year since 1991. Here's the reason: it's home away from home! Large living room and rec room for kids to run around. Friendly service. Dependable and comfortable. Free shuttle to and from resort.

Perfect place to stay in Winter Park; good pricing. The staff is super friendly and eager to assist in any way possible. They shuttle you to and from the ski slopes (a quick 8 minute ride at no charge), and they even waited 30 minutes past our agreed pick up time when we couldn't get down the slopes fast enough....

This is a great place. Very rustic with a fabulous great room of original logs. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, the facility clean. I loved it. Great for friends as all eat together and talk. Great views.

Staying here felt like staying with family (family you like visiting ;). Everyone was very friendly and the place had a great "home" feel about it, while offering the amenities of a resort. We could sit in the bar ( yes, there is a bartender)/lounge or billiards room while our boys (age 11, 10 and eight) were downstairs playing ping-pong...

My husband surprised me by coming to the Woodspur Lodge where we got married a year ago. They made our wedding a total dream in every way with the friendly service, romantic lights, snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, and family atmosphere! For our most recent stay, their staff went out of their way making a romantic dinner for us by...
