Yup, We were given a room that was directly outside the pool that doesn't close until 10pm. Here is what bothers me, There was no warning whatsoever about this room, just a "here you go, you'll be in room..." I never bothered to look out the window once we got to the room since

The hotel has a great staff and the rooms are always clean and comfy. Upon the windows to keep the room cool at night. Easy and close parking no matter which season you stay. The hotel is also dog-friendly.

This hotel is a great Hotel. It was incredibly friendly, clean, and close to everything. Walking distance the slopes, Tubing Hill, and the Village. Short Drive to Downtown Winter Park. It has a small restaurant and our room had a place for skis and snow gear! We stayed in

We stay at the Vintage every summer for mountain biking at Winter Park. They are friendly and let us take bikes into our room. Comfy beds and furniture. No A/C is common in the mountains but cool mountain nights make A/C unnecessary. Highly recommend.

I kind of have very mixed reviews about this place but then again I was there before the season was open so it was pretty quite. From the outside the place up close needs some paint and fixing of wood around the windows. We used a groupon and only paid $79 plus tax so really a

would this be good for a quick weekend getaway in the summer with children ages 2 to 13?
Winter park has a lot of kids activities. I think they would have a great time. Older kids can do mtn biking!

does Winter park offer free storage for poles and skiis so you don't have to haul it to the vintage?
Hi Mark, Unfortunately it is not free unless you rent your equipment from Winter Park rentals. You can rent a ski locker at the base and it is $16 day or $24 day/overnight and they hold up to 4 pairs of skis/poles or 3 snowboards. The other option is at the tune shop you can store your skis/poles for $7 overnight but that is just one pair. They do have wagons at the bottom of the Cabriolet to haul your equipment in to take over to ski area if you don't want to carry which makes it much easier especially for skiers. Hope this helps. When I was there last summer, none of the restaurants or bars were open on site. There was only access to convenience-type snacks sold through the front desk. Nothing available for morning or later evening before/after restaurants open/close. There are coffee makers and small refrigerators in the room to store your own items. Many good restaurants are accessible by the cabriolet lift (about 10 min) to the mountain base area from about 7 am until about 8 pm.

What time is earliest I can check in?
Officially it is 4pm. Unofficially call the front desk and if they aren't busy they'll get you in early, sometimes if the room was empty the night before they let us check in as early as we wanted. Call the front desk a few days in advance to see if they are near capacity and call again that morning to confirm. The desk staff at the Vintage are the best!
