Very nice hotel, most comfortable comfort room, cleanliness and magnificent view of Aix les Bains. The plus is the swimming pool on the heights with a very pleasant restaurant terrace. We were able to make the most of our weekend and were welcomed very warmly. We highly recommend this cozy little nest.

What more can we say about the meal. Like all the customers, we were delighted. At least a place where customers aren't taken for pigeons. Quality, presentation, quantity and price. Difficult to find better. And for all budgets. We only have one idea, COME BACK.

This hotel on a hill overlooking Aix-Les-Bains is a rare and wonderful find. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome and at home. The staff were extremely helpful, even giving us a different room, at their insistence so we did not have to climb two flights of stairs. The room was comfortable and the bathroom enough for our needs. We had a balcony with the most spectacular view over the city and the lake. This view is repeated from the restaurant where we received excellent service and top class food. The menu was varied and of a very high quality. Breakfast is served in a smaller room and there was a great choice, Hotel is ideally situated for exploring the Annecy - Chambéry areas. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a pleasant hotel with even more pleasant staff.

The hotel might be o.k but the restaurant is a disaster! Just a place catering for spa patients attending the nearby Thermes in Aix les bains. We went there as a family and were presented food not in accordance with the description. Stale bits of pizza passing for amuse-bouche and a terrible local lake fish swimming in a watery and bland concoction, décorated with a sprig of chive and being labelled as Lavaret in Chive sauce????? Certainly not ! When we dared to mention our disappointment and question the ingrédients and preparation, we were met with an abusive lady owner, totally inprofessional and unethical. NO respect for the customers whatsoever!

Chère Vlinvlin, Je me permet de vous répondre en français, puisque vous parlez parfaitement français. Je suis très sincèrement navrée que vous ayez passé un mauvais moment dans notre restaurant, et encore plus que vous écriviez un avis sur celui-ci près d'un an après votre venue. Je tiens à vous préciser qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un lavaret mais d'un filet de sandre que vous aviez commandé, il est étonnant que pour une critique gastronomique vous ne fassiez pas la différence entre un filet de sandre et un filet de lavaret. Le plat est nommé comme tel sur notre carte: "filet de sandre à la crème de ciboulette", je ne vois pas en quoi il ne correspondait pas à ce qui vous à été servi : un filet de sandre avec une sauce maison à base de crème, citron et ciboulette; accompagnement de légumes. Pendant votre repas, le serveur à répondu à vos questions (je ne suis pas intervenue directement, rappelez-vous). Ce n'est qu'une fois après votre mise en scène spectaculaire en terrasse (qui aura au moins eu le mérite d'animer les conversations des autres tables), puis, et oui car vous ne vous en êtes pas arrêtez-là, votre venue en cuisine, pour expliquez au Chef que sa cuisine était une catastrophe, que c'était infâme etc... (je m''excuse en 1 an j'ai peu être oublié vos propos mots pour mots), que je vous ai certes demandé de quitter les lieux. je prend très au sérieux les remarques CONSTRUCTIVES de mes clients, mais me faire traiter comme une moins que rien, ne fait pas partie de ma formation ni de mon expérience de 12 ans (encore une fois mes excuses). Sachez que je préfère servir des poissons du lac baignant dans une sauce infâme, à des curistes (qui selon vous apprécient la mauvaise nourriture), qu'avoir à faire à des clients sans scrupules, prenant tous les droits, afin de ne pas payer leur note de restaurant : pour nous c'est fait, passez votre chemin!!!

Very nice reception, our big dog was welcome at no extra charge, clean room with fantastic view, and a tray with coffee and tea, free parking which is locked at night. But the best was yet to come ! We had the most wonderful, delicious quality -price dinner at their restaurant ever!! Everything was just soooo gooood!!! I would definitely make the trip up the mountain if just to be able to eat there again ! I had the filet de bœuf with a Marc de Champagne sauce and my husband had the fish as the main course. We were both over the moon! So 3-4 stars for the hotel, 5 stars for the dinner. Merci beaucoup !
