Campground is nice enough. Was a pretty quiet (pre-season) weekend. Didn't get the site we requested (which was empty) and we were put behind the pavilion which was getting a new roof. Loud music from worker's truck plus banging for a good part of 2 days....seriously? Had camped one other time but didn't want to have to trek up/down pretty steep hill to the front of campground so that is why we asked for the preferred site. Store was being rebuilt so couldn't purchase anything. I won't say we would never return, but were a little disappointed this time around.

We have stayed the last two years, the end of August with a group of about 50 and will be going back again this year:

1. campgrounds are well kept
2. staff are nice
3 bathrooms are well located but tend to get very muddy at night after showering and not cleaned until the next day. Bring quarters for the shower.
4 2018 the ladies room ran out of tissue twice.
5. Walmart is about 40 minutes away if you forgot anything.
6. rates are excellent for a weekend getaway.
7. seems to be a really safe environment and other campers are always very friendly. Kids riding bikes and people walking their dogs with the smell of food grilling is a nice way to spend the day.
8 pool is a good size but could use more shade

We have searched other campgrounds but none fit out needs like Wolf's Den. Looking forward to going back.

I have been camping here since 2010 with my children. We started out in just a couple tents and since 2016 purchased a small camper as well. Since then, we always used the camper and tents for the kids. I booked this weekend (have not camped due to Covid since 2019) hoping for the same family campground. Unfortunately, when I made my reservation in January, I was not told that the do NOT accept tents any longer. I just happened to go online to see the activities and noticed it now says NO TENTS!. Utterly ridiculous that I had to find out this way and obviously cannot cancel as we will be arriving today. I guess when new owners take over they don't take into consideration all the families that have come to camp with both campers and tents. They don't care! This will be our last time. I am sure others will follow suit!

Hi April, we are sorry to hear your disappointment. All reservations allow for one camping unit and as yours was a trailer, we were able to take your reservation. We thank you for all the years you’ve spent camping with us and are happy you found another spot that allows tents. Happy Camping! -Carolyn

dont waste you're time here. there's nothing to do. the staff is useless and the owner is a b##$h.stayed there for two consecutive weekends and played for two adults and two children, one of my daughters wasn't able to make it the second weekend so we invited my other daughters boyfriend to come. he had to pay extra money and got treated like sh## while he was checking in by the owner of the campground. I will never come back here again

Thank you very much for your review of our park. I'm sorry we didn't have the chance to meet or that I could talk to you over this exchange. Your daughter and her boyfriend, whom I did deal with, were nothing but kind. That's why this review is confusing since I didn't even speak with you. Our posted visitor policy is as follows: All visitors must register in the office, park in a designated area, have the proper pass posted in their car and pay the posted visitor fee. All others will be considered trespassers. When I met these two at the gate trying to obtain access to the park, I realized they were not in compliance and we had a nice conversation and the situation was rectified. Thank you. My family had such a fun time! Bathrooms were very clean, we have camped at many places and this by far has the nicest bathrooms. Very kid friendly with so many activities planned for kids. This was our second time and I plan on going back many more times!
