We stayed here for a week in October to attend a reunion of my submarine crew. Nicely planned park. Park has pretty good WIFI and excellent cable TV. Great location in the country so no road noise. Only a few miles from New London, CT. We enjoyed our stay here. Sites are easy to get into. Some sites are pull... More

We went in October knowing this was a bit high priced, but it was the only park I found in the area we wanted to be in. All the others nearby were closing for the season. We found the park to be clean and our spot by the water was nice. This was only our fourth trip camping, and noticed... More

We stayed Labor day weekend it was sold out. We arrived late due to traffic, the office was closed however left our information on the door as most camp sites. We was in the first space you see pulling in at the gate. We thought "oh no" however it was a large pull through, level spot. We got hooked up... More

Aces High Campground was OUTSTANDING in service, cleanliness and location! Four families spent an extended Labor Day Holiday at Aces High. The sites are level and easily accessible as well as clean. Include all amenities (water, electric, cable, sewer) and free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms were spotless. Saw a cleaning crew every few hours at the facilities. Yes you must pay... More

Have stayed here several times over the last 5 years. It is apparent that it no longer is operated by the owner, but rather is operated by a lessor, who cares only about profit. Also, they now charge 5 percent more if you pay by credit card. Wonder how much of the cash payments get declared as income??? Trash pickup... More

This is a nice campground with good and clean facilities. We liked the little hiking trail, the pond and the pool. Downsides are the traffic noise from the nearby street, and the showers cost extra. With kids: Beware of the sharp screws when using the green climbing frame on the playground.

We just returned from a two night, three day stay at Aces High today. We booked online for our get-away and had no problems doing so. We camped in a 30' travel trailer with no slide-outs. Upon arrival at around 4:30 pm, we found the office check-in to be efficient enough and we were given two sites to choose from,... More

First off the place is infested with moths an d caterpillars everywhere all over the trees and on the ground. The ants are so bad in the grass you can't let your little ones down. Bugs flying everywhere getting in your camper. There is never anyone in the office that knows what is going on and always says they have... More

After researching and visiting almost every campground in southern CT over the last few years, there is no question that Aces High is a superior facility comparatively. Against its local competition, it is a 5 star facility. Rated against other facilities nation wide, it would be a 3 to 3.5 star facility. Its a lovely campground with water everywhere: large...
