I was surprising my family for a special weekend & was happy to find a room available at the Fife 'n Drum Inn for one night. I am very familiar with Kent so I was glad I was right in town and could do some shopping while there. When I made my reservation I was told the photos on the... More

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night, and we were glad it wasn't more. Our first impression was that this was a nice spacious room in a lovely part of America. It probably is the case that we were unlucky, and that this is usually a lovely place to stay at. However, there were a number of issues... More

We were made to feel welcome and valued from the first encounter to the last. My mother and I had been out on the AT for a couple of weeks and were badly in need of showers and a good bed. We arrived early in the morning prior to business hours and waited patiently in the chairs on the porch... More

This was our 2nd visit for a weekend and we really had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The room (#6) was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the serene view looking out at the snow covered field and barn. There was ice on the steps going up to the room. We saw Lucy at the gift shop and mentioned it... More

My husband and I stayed at the inn the day before Valentine's Day with another couple. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everyone was just as nice as could be. Our friends' room was only accessible by going up outside stairs, and the steps were a little icy. Our friends asked for this to be... More

We found this beautiful place searching for a typical new england Inn. We found just that! We stayed at room 3 "The country room". Perfect for three. The room was filled with flowers (on the walls, on the cover, on the pillows). We were received at the counter of the Restaurant (wich we heard has amazing dishes!) and we settled... More

My wife and I had always wanted to spend a night here in the fall. October 2015 near peak foliage, and this was the year. We’re glad we did. We called for availability and we had a choice between a few rooms, and the hostess was helpful in steering us to Room 7, which is a second floor room with... More

We have stayed at this inn a number of times in the past and once again chose to stay this October. We had a handicapped room (we are not handicapped) off the parking lot. The location is great for walking to restaurants and for convenience with close parking. This time, however, the price was way off for the no-frills service,... More

This was our second visit to the Fife 'n Drum. I have been pleasantly surprised by this small Inn. We stayed in room 14each time and it has been clean and comfortable. We have also eaten at the restaurant 3 different times. Food and service have been fantastic. Highly recommend!
