We stayed one night here and it was magical. We were the only guests as it was midweek mid December and we felt so at home. We were greeted with afternoon tea and due to the rain, relaxed with the open fire. Amazing homemade breakfast and coffee and great local knowledge and restaurant recommendations. The room was beautiful and we...

We were traveling with our two teen daughters, looking at boarding school in the New England area. We use Starbuck Inn as our base, and from there it was easy to navigate to the other areas of Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. Peter was a wonderful host, and his home is quaint, New England style, with a lot of warmth....

An error in planning resulted in my very pregnant wife and I wandering through northwest Connecticut looking for a room in an inn. (We would have settled for a manger, but found something quite the opposite.) After a few dead ends, we came across Peter Starbuck and his delightful Starbuck Inn. I'm sure he saw the misfortune on our faces,...

My wife and I were guests at the Starbuck Inn....our experience could not have been more rewarding. Peter is a gracious, warm, and welcoming host who has a wealth of local knowledge at his command, and the property is steeped in local and regional history. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the afternoon teas are not to be missed, and...

We had just arrived at JFK international and were looking for accommodation on the way north to see the fall. Kent was good distance for our first night. Definite country, good for a long walk and to recover from jet lag. Peter was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfy.

Convenient location right in the town of Kent. Nice sized rooms and very clean. The innkeeper is very friendly and very helpful, whether it is restaurant recommendations or the history of the area. Breakfasts are delicious.

This was a great place to stay while we helped our son get adjusted to his 1st year at Kent School. The highlight of Starbucks is Peter Starbuck...a gracious host that made our stay in Kent feel like a second home. If you are ever passing through Kent, this is the place to stay. DS

We spent a night in the charming town of Kent at Starbucks inn. It was just an amazing spot. It was like spending the night at a lovely friends home. The home was decorated so beautifully in New England style. We were welcomed with tea complete with all kinds of delicious nibbles. Our room was spacious with all the necessities...

I read all the reviews and could not wait to end our two week journey with the two night stay at this B&B. All well, but not as good as the picture painted in the reviews. Positives: Peter is a fantastic host, the place is very neat and tidy, beautiful area - everything as said in the reviews. Negatives: 1....

This is a wonderful inn. Run by the owner Peter Starbuck you can be assured of personal service. It is a few minutes walk to the restaurants in Kent, so no need to use the car. Highly recommended. Thank you Peter for a wonderful stay.
