My wife, who fondly remembers summers in Madison, wanted to go back to visit and reminisce. We selected the Scranton Seahorse Inn for its location (right next to Madison's main commercial street) and for its charm (a beautiful early 19th Century building). We were not disappointed. Our innkeeper showed us to a large, well-appointed room facing the Boston Post Road,...

Staying in Madison was a last-minute idea. I wanted a quick weekend away on the shore with my daughter who will be going to California for college in the fall. It was difficult to find a good quality and attractive place at such a late date, and it is almost impossible to evaluate hotels from photos. Everything I read about...

We chose a location in Madison by the seashore after a number of days tour in Washington, DC. The Inn was a wonderful break from the noise, pollution, and hectic pace of the city. We had hoped for a couple of sunny days at the sea, but the weather did not cooperate. However, Michael gave us excellent advice about traveling...

My wife and I stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful stay. The Town View room is huge with a two person seating area and 5 windows. The house is comfortable and decorated nicely. The gardens and back yard are nice for a quiet break after a day out and about. Michael was very welcoming...

A gorgeous old home, marvelously maintained, tastefully decorated, with beautiful gardens. Beds were big and comfortable. Rooms have ample storage and space to move around. The air temp control in each room was also a nice feature. Hosts Michael and Olive went out of their way to make us feel welcome, with thoughtful gestures like loaning us a bike lock....

This is a beautiful B&B, situated in the heart of Madison, within walking distance of the beach and some of the best restaurants in the area. We stayed in the smallest room (Sereno's retreat) which was still very comfortable and private. Breakfasts were fabulous and the hosts were very hospitable. We particularly enjoyed talking to Michael who has a fascinating...

Michael makes you feel like you are at home. We enjoyed the Inn and the quiet neighborhood. It is close to the State Park, cute little downtown shops, and even an outlet if you feel like shopping. We stayed in the Madison room and loved the porch outside our room.

If the Scranton Seahorse innkeepers would adopt me I might move in! This is a fabulous bed and breakfast located in a lovely Connecticut seaside town, Madison. The shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance and the innkeepers are helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do. They offer beach passes and other amenities. I was there 5...

My husband and I were lucky enough to snag the Ocean Dreams room for our brief yet lovely stay. First of all, Madison is lovely. The Seahorse is located off a quiet frontage road in the middle of town, very close to the beach. An artfully arranged and prepared breakfast is served for all who want it and get up...

Thanks so much for the wonderful stay. We booked all seven rooms so our family could be together for a destination wedding in Madison. Everything about your B&B was perfect; peaceful, quiet, private, close to downtown and done with such taste. You have created something magical. We'll be back!
