There is nothing wrong with the Inn at Middletown. It's a great location and offers your standard accommodations for a hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful with whatever we needed. The hotel is also down the street from Wesleyan University. However, we happened to have

Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I am pleased that you overall enjoyed your stay with us but am also truly sorry for the noise from the wedding party. We try so so hard to separate non wedding guests for that exact reason. We also make them aware of quiet time. The hotel itself was someone's home in the 1800s and since has had buildings built around it so having a lot right next to the Inn is a problem however we do have valet and a self park lot just a block behind the hotel. I know it is not perfect but we try and give our guests all the options that we have. We also have meter parking right in front of the hotel and it is free from 6pm to 10am. I hope you give us another try when you can get away.

Thank you for your review of the Inn. I am glad you overall enjoyed your stay with us. I do have concerns about the way you felt the bar service went as it is an important part of the overall experience. I will share these comments with the team and make them aware of the perception he or she is making. We have a great restaurant and long term dedicated servers so when I bring this to there attention I am sure they will take it seriously.

Cookies: Thank you for sharing with us your holiday experience at the Inn. Hopefully it was a home away from home experience as we like to treat our visiting guests extra special during this time of year. Decorating the Inn is a labor of love and we enjoy the comments from our guests.

This hotel has antique charm with a modern feel inside the room. Quite possibly the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in! Everything in the room worked perfectly. It was nice not hearing commotion in the hallways or access doors slamming. We felt very much at home!

Brian Thank you for your review of the hotel. Our goal during our recent renovation was to keep the charm but give it that modern feel like you said. Yaaaaa we did it!!!. We are also so proud of our housekeeping department as they keep the Inn sparkling day in and day out.

We have family in the Middletown area and my wife decided to try the Inn at Middletown as our home base while visiting. We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small, charming and has all the amenities; pool, gym, bar, restaurant, and most importantly a great location.
