This was our first stay at this hotel and we only stayed one night. We chose this location based on price and distance from the aquarium (it's about a 3 minute ride). The check-in process was easy and pleasant, our room was ready at 4 p.m. for check in. When I walked in the room, I noticed that my feet were sticking to the floor. There was a large sticky spill in the foyer area. I chose to clean it myself rather than calling the front desk (based on check-in I think they would have been quick to respond if I had called), but it did cause me to question the actual cleanliness of the room. The bathroom appeared clean, as did the bedding. The beds were comfortable and the shower was okay, though it did get cold quickly. The pool is small and our children were cold after 30 minutes, while they usually swim for hours on end. There is not a lot of room around the pool so if it is busy you may get wet. There were no cookies and the coffee was not available when we arrived but it was in the morning when we checked out. It was nice being close enough to walk to a couple of restaurants and to the shopping area. We also took a longer walk down to the Seaport Museum . Overall, we would be comfortable staying again but might stay elsewhere if cost was the same.

We loved our stay and definitely would stay again. The two sinks )one inside the bathroom and one outside) were helpful and the bathtub was huge! Beds were comfortable, checkin and check out were easy. There was a small, old stain on one of the bedsheets and the caulking around the bathtub could be replaced. However, you really can’t beat this place for the value and location. We felt like the room had been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived and appreciate the extra steps being taken to keep guests and staff safe. I was very surprised that although our room faced the highway there was no noise! We also appreciated the security lights on all the balconies/patios but we could not figure out if there was a way to turn them off when we went to bed so it was a little bright through the curtains.

Ground floor rooms on the parking lot side have sliding doors which make moving luggage in and out very easy. Swimming pool looks immaculate. The room is nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable, water is hot and the TV and Internet works. The staff members are friendly and helpful. It was a good value for the money. My biggest complaint is that heat seems to come from an electrical air conditioner/heater that turned off in the middle of the night, which left our room quite cold. That heater was quite noisy, too. It’s walking distance to the Mystic Seaport Museum, though, which is what we wanted.

Booked a stay during power outage as we needed to work. We also required a pet-friendly motel/hotel, so we were grateful they allowed our dog to stay with us. However, Internet connection was poor at best, but experienced constant drops, making work impossible and leaving us with angry clients. We booked two rooms for our family and the dog, so that I, the kids, and the dog could stay in one room while my husband held videoconference depositions in the other room. Both rooms had stained bedding. Mattresses were old and sagging. Our non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke. The pool was packed at all times during pandemic while other hotels were limiting pool use to 2 families per hour requiring families reserve time slots.

Extremely satisfied. Clean, puppy friendly, clean pool. Friendly and courteous staff, tidy and renovated room, lots of TV channels, decent internet. Only problem we had was the very dry air blowing out of the heater but this is standard fair in this type of accommodation.

First, my experience, I’ve been traveling for 45 years of my life. I am a highly savvy and discernible traveler. After reading the reviews of this hotel I was a bit trepidatious about staying here. Upon check-in I mentioned that I’d read some reviews that were not so complimentary and asked to be put in the newly remodeled room. The front desk clerk was extremely nice. He put me in room 109 and it was sensational. No smell of cigarettes, and the room was extremely well equipped with a fridge and microwave. I saw no mold, or anything else that concerned me. The location of this hotel cannot be beat and compared to the price of nearby hotels, I feel that I absolutely got my money’s worth. As a female traveling alone, I never felt unsafe or scared in the area. Ask for a room in the 100 hall and you won’t be disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

In the midst of physical renovations but it is clear that staffing needs as much an overhaul as the accommodations. One employee knocked, the other did not. Neither was in uniform or had a name badge stating they were true employees. First staff member used her keycard to enter without knocking, permission and never even stated her reason for being there. Just walked out quickly. Second knocked claiming to be there to replace lightbulbs but yet all the lights worker in the room. Probably the only thing in the room that didn’t cause us an issue. Only two towels in the room for a two night stay and front desk was asked 5 times for new towels and never received them. Spend the extra to get a room at a better chain of hotels. Doesn’t meet what you would expect from Wyndham. Horrible follow up from what i can assume is the property manager.

It was centrally located to all the places I visited. The room was spotless and clean. The employees were very friendly and gave a courtesy call to make sure the room was to my satisfaction and that I was safe and comfortable in the room. The Mystic Diner attached to it had fabulous food and cocktails.

We stayed for 1 night. The location of this hotel is perfect. A short walk to Old Mystic Village and the Aquarium. The room itself was ok. The shower needed to be replaced - stained, mold on the grout, etc. What really turned us off from this hotel was the fact that when we walked down the hallway to our room there were full garbage bags lining the hallway. I could see this happening if housekeeping was working on the rooms, however this was at 4:30pm when check in was at 3pm. In my opinion rooms should be done by then.

We only paid $90 for the night, booking through expedia. For that price it was worth it, but I would never pay more than that.

This place is not an inn it’s a run down motel. I wouldn’t waste my money here again and we go to mystic every year. First the lobby was packed with check ins no one enforcing social distancing. We got to our room and the smell of cigarettes was so bad we had to open the sliding door and it was freezing out I asked to switch rooms because we had a 1 year old with us but we’re told they were sold out so they sent someone to spray something and while he was there he informed us they have the worst vacuum cleaners so that could be it- very weird. The bathroom tiles were all broken and you could see inside the ceiling. We walked by a maid in the hallway and she wasn’t wearing a mask while cleaning the rooms. Never again will we be staying here- completely grossed out
